Plain T-Shirts
« on: June 09, 2014, 09:52:25 AM »
Any recommendations/favorites for plain color t-shirts.  It seems like they're tough to find (especially being 6'4 and thin with broad shoulders).

Vans, Hurley, Quiksilver etc all make plain cheap tees. Check surf sites like Swell.com. Costco white t's last forever. Dickies and carhartt make plain shirts too that are cut bigger.

regular hanes tees with a little box logo on the left bottom, it ain't the same at all, that little box logo makes the t-shirt ultra rare and valuable and beautiful and trendy and (so on..) haha

Kirkland white tees from Costco are the best bang for your buck. They fit nice and last long enough. They had black and grey ones at times but they are not nearly as nice. Maybe that has to do with the coloring of the tee. Not sure.

HUF even did a plain tee pack but they are crazy for that price.

you can get plain tee's from hobby lobby, for like 3 or 4 dollars. hobbylobby.com has 40% of one item coupons its website, you can use once a day. I think jerzees and/or AAA which aren't anything special, if your looking for a super comfy tee. Calvin Klein if you can find some for cheap.

I'd kill for plain shirts that fit and feel like altamont tshirts. Super light and super soft when they're brand new.

I actually came in here to post that Altamont makes the ultimate plain T-shirt as my experience dictates. They used to have these 3-packs that came with a white, black, and grey one and I've been running them for years. I've never been able to find another of those 3-packs though.

Those altamont 3 packs were great, still got a couple left, as far as other brands, I usually grab Indy plain ones and unstitch the pockets, found a stack of fourstar ones for super cheap and did the same thing

I am 6'3" 168lbs, broad shoulders.   Similar build. I wear Uniqlo Plain T-shirts (size L) all damn day.  They make several styles of plain T and I like just about all of the crew neck ones.

I've been doing this quite a bit myself, I can't stand the heat and thickness of heavy t shirts in the summer. The dri fit shirts are super light and don't get all dingy looking after a bunch of watches. Didn't know about those altamont 3 packs, they should make them again.

Every time I look all they have are long sleeve.  I think they're pushing those Champion C9 shirts, which aren't bad.
