Fractured an elbow a few months back; don't really wanna fall on it again anytime soon, so I bought some 187 slim pads. What was funny was that the only place where I could find any reputable reviews on pads came from the roller derby scene.


From what I gathered they look like gnarly women for the most part, so I'm sure they'll work fine.

Went to a shop that had some cheap thunders, didn't had any bigger than 147, ended up with the 149 indys titanium

They are lighter than the 139 hollow i'm riding but i feel like i pay top dollar for a gimmiky

I have that carabiner tool too, neat thing but I don’t like that phllips is primary option and that allen head is useless as you don’t get any torque on that... I only use allen bolts.

Same boat. Venture 5.0 lo-Indy 169. Hilariously/sadly, most of the decks are old and banged out. Can’t settle on a set-up.

Nah, there's definitely some cuties that do the derb. That was just a funny pic I found. They take slams and eat shit just like us, too.

I once wore the Thrasher boyfriend tee to an art show, and a cute chick selling weed brownies got really excited upon seeing it and asked me if I skate at a particular location.
We had a short confusing exchange before I told her that I've realized she's talking about roller skating and I don't visit the local rink.

been wearing the HUF Dylans to work - there really nice and all but a bit too thin. i skate in all cup soles and as awesome as the dylans are (with fp king foam insoles) they still feel a bit too flimsy. I got these ipaths to have in the mix. something a bit beefier. the only thing is most my work clothes are a big more fitting than my usual kit which is a bit baggier.

Recently bought a grip of stuff that I'll post. Thanks to the sales gear thread, just bought this Vince Alvarez board from Skate Warehouse. Graphic's actually not bad, especially the topside graphic, although I'm not a fan of phrases on boards/clothes/etc. Glad I could support VA.

Grabbed the P.rod 8s at a thrift store for 12.99. literally brand new.
Huf classic hi from ebay $30 shipped. kinda bummed they sent me these obey collab ones when the photo showed the original first gen black suede ones. I actually ordered two pairs in different sizes and they sent me one of those and one of these canvas obey ones (wtf?!).
Palace x Ralph from stockX for just over $120. I like fashion and skating. Figured this could be a cool piece to own 20 years from now.
And lastly a Jeremy Klein bomberman to skate. Screen print is really nice, and the shape is great! 8" wide, but because it tapers on the nose and tail it looks smaller than it is.

Next purchase will be bones easy street wheels
