Got a magenta deck on sale.
7.875/31.25/14
Never tried them before and hope they are like Polar, coz it is also a bbs.

Should be good - usually a bit flatter through the middle with fairly normal kicks.

Guessing they are all back to the brown stain now as well, which is the usual, rather than whatever they were on for a minute when they couldn't get BBS wood.

Had to grab the 8.9 egg from the new Heroin drop.  Wish it had wheel wells, but oh well.

Some Crockett hi's $20 off
and Dial Tone 52 Aaron Herrington Conicals that were $26
both from the new year sale Parade had.

Get hungry on it!

I got this board through a friend who never skated it.

I'm a huge fan of the original Workshop, colors are awesome. Definitely a wall hanger.

if i was going to buy a bunch of shoes right now, it would probably look just like this.

hows the fit on those Last Resorts compared to Authentic highs? you get the same size in them?

I went tts (10.5) in both and they’re both a little roomy. The Last Resorts are narrower than the Crockett’s though. They’re both chiller shoes for me, so I’m not worried about them feeling too big to skate in. I’d still prefer them this way than too small if I eventually skate in either pair. I never tried on 10’s in either pair so I genuinely don’t know how they’d fit half a size down. Sometimes my feet pull a truck on me where shoes feel good half a size down in the shop, but feel too tight after a couple days of wearing/skating

Does second hand stuff count?

This was from almost a week ago, but I haven't had time to try any of it yet.

So I bought some second hand product from a guy I know and it arrived yesterday, which was pretty good timing.

All up a couple of shaped decks, a couple of sets of wide trucks, over half a dozen sets of wheels in different sizes and duros and some bearings.

I hadn't had a chance to set anything up yet but it is definitely going to be fun getting into it all and seeing what works with what and all that.

Polar Dane 1 9.75 deck
Heroin Mutant Egg 9.6 deck
Thunder 151 Lights
Venture 6.1 Team Editions
Spitfire Formula Four wheels in 52, 54, 56 and 58 mm
Mini logo wheels in 56 mm 95 duro and 58 mm 90 duro

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I used to love getting anything over 56mm for the extra width and the bigger wheels would be so good (and still are).

They last longer and as they wear down, really have that nice shape to them, wider profile which just worked really well for me and I mostly skate transition so they were perfect.

Picked up some Radial Fulls in the 56mm non-weed colourway (I smoke all the time but pot stuff on just about anything is too cringe for me to support). Shout out to The Drive Skate Shop in East Van 👍

W 8.88" WB 14.75" L 32.5"

Went on a trip to Cologne and visited the Concretewave skateshop. Went in with the intention of buying an Anti-Hero Curbageddon Huffer, but I saw this one and compared the two for a bit. Really dig the graphic and shape although I don't like that it is dipped. Dimensions looking good too. I like that the huffer has fatter at the back and skinnier in the front but was afraid the Huffer was going to be a bit too wide for me.

Dipped has often been something of a curse, but I think they are using better wood on those dipped boards now than they did on other ones a while ago.  I always try to scratch a bit off and see if there are any coloured ply layers hiding in there.

Either way it is a good size and shape for a bigger board without it being too big.

We'll see, it's on ice until my current deck has worn to the point I don't feel too wasteful skating a new one.  :D

Was thinking the same shapewise. Coming from an 8.5"W 14.5"WB 32"L, it shouldn't be too much of a difference but just a tad bit more comfortable/wide enough and stable while still being flippable, I think.
