Been really hyped on the older looking DC models latley... probably due to sitting in the shop watching old videos.
Purchased 3 pairs in the last couple of months. Kails OG's , Lynx Zeros, and just grabbed a pair of the Kailynx from Theory boardshop.
I'll skate them all eventually...

1/8” risers for my cruiser/manhole ollie setup. Oh and two sets of 94a Indy bushings. The stock bushings on my new 8.75 Ventures w/ no risers wheelbite super hard w 52mm Keyframes…which stops me like I hit a rock. I don’t want to crank them all the way down to tighten them up, for a few reasons. Hopefully the harder bushings help.

Nora’s
Puig Indoors
Shin Sanbongi Campus ADV’s
Campus ADV’s

The Nora’s felt a little too narrow up front and the Puigs felt a 1/4 size too snug in 10.5 so I sized up to an 11. They both fit fine now. Mixed with all the other shoes I already have I’m all set for the next couple of years……until I see something else that catches my eye
[close]

The Sanbongi ADV is a cool fucking shoe.

How does it fit?

Campus ADV’s seem to run tts. Adidas sizing can be a little off though from personal experience. If you have a local shop that stocks them then I’d start there

Since I have little impulse control I’m back with another pair. Had to size up half a size for them to feel right. The leather is really nice on these

Hit the “flea sale” in LA this morning, grabbed some dope shit. Shout out to all the dweebs who rushed in and walked out with armfuls of scifi fantasy gear, thanks for leaving some for the rest of us…

Up to my usual antics of buying something, liking it right away, then immediately getting another one.  Second 8.38” Limosine deck in a row.  This one was printed upside down which is kinda sick

A Nighthammer at a flea market?!?!?!?

Must be some rad dudes putting out stuff there.

That Andrew Allen (Spitfire?) cap is a good one and those prints are really cool too.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Yeah so the “flea market” was put together by Andrew allen, Jerry hsu, and some other people. Mike Gigliotti (of lotties) had two nighthammers plus a bunch of old antihero decks that used to be hanging at the shop. Had to stop myself from grabbing an old Julien deck and the lance mountain drawing of BA deck. The prints are by Anthony Acosta and Nuge was there with a bunch of supreme gear. Pretty cool set up

Yes totally makes sense now.

And as said, I think almost anyone would have a hard time NOT spending way too much there.

I wonder how often something like that comes around - not that often I am guessing.

This FA deck is ugly, but it was only $30. It does have a similar shape as the LB Skate 8.6 decks though if anyone cares. The FA one is just steeper (possibly to step for me since I’ve been skating this Toy Machine that I really like).

I had that fa board in my cart for the sale but ended up going with 2 more quasi protos

I pulled the trigger on a Black Label 8.25 Deck.

The specs said 8.25 × 32.12 but it is more like 32 in length with a ~ 14.3 wb. Are all Label Decks like that? I am mad happy to give Lucero my money.

Always stoked on Black Label and just picked up a few more 8.5 x 32.3 with 14.5 wb "beer bottle" label graphic, on sale.

Standard BBS wood and shapes for the most part, the popsicles anyway, so I feel like I can't go wrong there, but these ones are pretty steep to start with.

I parked on this first one not once but twice just to mellow it out a bit more and it is just right for me now, still super crispy with a way more comfortable tail and not quite so steep nose.

This pic was really just for the boards, but it is pretty much what my usual setup was when I was skating a lot more bigger bowl and going fast on transition parks.

I was contemplating this as a fresh setup, Christmas complete kind of thing anyway.

Black Label 8.5 deck
Jessup grip
Indy 149 standards
Indy bushings red 92 duro low heads
Spitfire Classic Full 56mm wheels
Bones Swiss bearings
Shortys Lights phillips 7/8"

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Just picked up this complete for 25$ off of craigslist from an old russian guy that doesn’t skate. I really only needed some 8 inch trucks, and this was a steal. They are pretty much brand new USA made indy 139’s. Came with mini logo 53mm soft wheels and bearings. And a 8.25 blank deck.
Craigslist is such a good place to find the deals on skate gear.
