Cyber Monday is running - as a belated birthday gift to myself, I bought a set of Royal inverted 139s and two 8.25x31.875 Girl decks from the Crail store. These may be in the Purchases you Regretted thread down the road, as I’ve never tried Crail anything, but I’m pretty stoked on the value (60 and 45 CAD for the boards and trucks).

How are low Lopez cons shoes ? Thinking about getting at least 1 park I see that’s heavily discounted. Concerned about small toe boxes

I really liked my pair. Simple, comfortable, pretty durable. They do look a bit like a bowling shoe from the top view. I don’t remember the toe being very narrow, it’s a pretty standard converse fit, I ended up having to size down

It took little longer than expected but they arrived. Lurpiv hollows 150.
I know they're ugly af but once you have them in hand they have something I can't pinpoint wtf it is but is there. Somewhere, probably here, I read that is a brutalist looking truck and that's the best description ever.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

^I agree. I shouldn't like these trucks, but somehow I do. I think they look just preposterous enough to not compare them to other trucks, but also not so grotesque that they're just a useless novelty product. Thus far I've only cruised around on them but the turn is crazy good too.

I ended up ordering again from both DLX and Atlas, aside from this stuff. Plus, I got packages from Cowtown, Relief, NJ, and Flower that are still on the way. The amount of product I have is too much, but I’m glad my money only went to skate shops. It’s mostly because I don’t know what the price increases are going to look like when the tariffs hit.

I've been looking at these and they look so sick I kind of want to try them out but I'm very content with my Ace Classics and don't want to stir the pot or set up a second setup. Reminds me of Brutalism and vintage sci-fi books. Also they're so high I could maybe shed some weight with less overhang on 8.5" and ditching risers. Tempting....

As far as purchases, only got a shop deck I've been eyeing on a sale.

Bought some Blazers on sale AND
something possessed me to purchase these 60mm 97a Nick Boserio OJ wheels.  Could be fun… could be horrible. We’ll see.

As someone who now owns a lot of the Boserio OJ wheel models, and still rides one of his older mini combo models, I can attest that they are, in fact, very fun. Not perfect, but definitely fun, which is all I need out of skating really

I don’t remember if I got the 95x or 97x v5 but it’s such a great wheel. I can’t see me really ever changing unless maybe the v6 which I think is the one that’s the same but wider.

Spitfire has cool points and marketing  and I like the team more. But bones crushed it on the X formula. Still made in USA too I think.

- GX1000 Bomb hills not countries tee
- 8five2 skate shop In Utero tee
- Victoria x Vans half cabs
- Victoria socks
- Thrasher mag
- Sci-Fi Fantasy keychain
- stickers from the homies

tbh the Vans look a little wild, but I've genuinely never skated half cabs, and after months of looking at these particular ones, I decided to just let my soul rest and try em, since I'm a big fan of Victoria's skate stuff in Hong Kong. The Sci-Fi keychain was a bittersweet purchase because I bought a similar one from their website half a year ago, and unfortunately the mail was quarantined and destroyed lol. I kinda feel bad for hassling Sci-Fi fantasy customer service over email, but I legitmately had no idea my order had been deleted from existence by the mailing company.

Grabbed five April boards from their sale. Excited to skate BBS boards again.

Not super stoked on April as a brand, but their shapes are great.

New wall hanger, finally found one of my first boards

Damn, nice find!

Just got the 1/4” version of the Chems wheelbase mod tool. Going to take my GFB blank down from 14.375 to 13.875. I’ve only ridden 14” wheelbase for 5+ years and the last time I went with a 14.3 I hated it.

Just did my annual gift where I bought a deck from my local (LB Skate) and have them gift it to a kid coming in to buy a new Christmas board.

Hope the lucky kid enjoys it.
