Tried on some Nike Leos at Zumiez while my fiancé was across the hall buying bath bombs.  They felt really nice.. wide, stable, cushioned yet supportive.  So I went on GOAT and ordered a pair for way cheaper.  It’s hardcore winter up here right now but I’m excited to skate them.

Just scored these 4 decks for 40 on marketplace. Yes the quasi is ugly, however it is a twin bbs. Nothing some slides won’t take care of.

My wife got me a pair for Christmas. I liked the feel of them so much I went and scooped another two pairs from Premier.  I hope they stick around for a while but have a feeling they won’t.

Leo’s are comfy AF, I find them to be a pain to put on though.

I got a pair of LED slimeballs for Christmas and they look fantastic.

Ordered this butter goods hoodie since I’m also a fan of blue note jazz. Came in the mail today the same day I bought my next skate shoes. I’m a sucker for blue, purple, green and anything in between so I had to get that colorway.

Got some bones swiss on some crazy end of year sale. Wish I’d done it years ago, noticeable difference from whatever random modus bearings I was running.

worth every penny in my opinion.

i also felt the same way when i got my first set of swiss- still running with no shields on and no care for 8 years or so!

have fun with these!
also if you wanna take proper care of them: there's this cleaning kit from bones and i think bronson has one- comes in handy

32€ Sour board from my local and 3€ package from SkateDeluxe to celebrate getting a new job. Waiting for a couple Polar boards under the same excuse.
Pd: Thx pals for the good vibes when posting that shoe pic while being in the job interview :)

They're good.  I like their fit better than polar.  They run big though.  I wear 32 in polar, for Butter I size down to 30.

God damn. I have a pair of 30 inch waist polar 93’s that fit fairly loose around the waist and a pair of dimes that are fit about the same. your saying these are baggier? If I buy jeans from your average retailer a size 30 is like two sizes too small for me. Where do these skate brands get their size info from? I just bought some volcom cords and their size 33 fits about the same as my size 30 polars.

Where it's made can play a role here

Asian factories making stuff for american brands
Polish/ portuguese factories making stuff for european brands

inconsistencies and shit get lost in translation when, usually, asian sizing is small / american sizing is big / european sizing right in the middle

The best way I can describe it is like this.  I also have a pair of 93s in 32X30, and I would say waist wise the "baggy fit" Butters size 30 is a bit slimmer.  But the legs are baggier and longer, probably closer to a X32 length.
I’m similar with “average retailers” in that if I buy a pair of Levi’s 550s I’m going up to a 35w, and they still aren’t as baggy.  Based off what you describe, if 30w 93s are “fairly loose”, I think you’d find Butters 30 to be noticeably looser than that.  Depending on the fit you’re going for I’d say you’d be safe sizing down to a 28, but if you have a shop that carries Butter Goods I’d recommend trying some on before pulling the trigger.  I’d hate to steer you wrong based off my experience alone.  Also, you can even sort of see it in the photo I posted, but the black “weather gear” pair are noticeably larger than the light rinse pair.  Both size 30 and the “Baggy Fit”.  So while the quality of materials is great, there does seem to be a bit of size inconsistency.

Dude thanks for the help that was super helpful. They look like dope jeans. I’ve been wanting the art style butters in white but they’re out of stock. I think I’ll get them in a 30. 30 seems fairly consistent for me with the skate brands. I’m really a size 32-33 so I feel like 28 is too small.

My experience is pretty much the same, Butter pants run a full size big so my size 30s fit more like a 32 in most other brands. I could probably wear a 28 in them but they wouldn’t be as loose as I would like. I bet the 30s would fit you well enough @noxiousPond
