I first met Bastien back at Tampa Pro 2001. I was so amazed at his abilities and how consistent he was. I immediately became inspired to become a better skater and have looked up to him ever since. He is a true legend in skateboarding. I'm honored to have gotten to know him and so excited to have him as a part of the Primitive Skateboarding family!

Fuuck yes! Finally. Excited to see a new primitive promo or video, they must be working on dropping something soon. Bastien seems really motivated, seems to be working on getting a bigger bag of tricks

I really like this move. I could see Cole and Mikey Taylor joining, but I guess the'll also want ownership on whatever they're riding.

2nd vote would be for PJ. sometimes it is a fine command of the english language to say nothing and he extended that to skating. PJ's plan B part is the emperor's new clothes.

What kind of wood does Primitive use? I would be down for a Bastien board.

Nice to see him legitimately hooked up.

p-rod explained how he wanted the riders to have more ownership in their brand rather than letting the company make choices for them.  While that would work for mikey taylor if he gets on primitive i don't think that would work with chris cole.  Chris Cole has too big of name. what has mikey done that is exactly groundbreaking to where kids want something from his own board brand if he were to start one?

Mikey Taylor had an interview on the "Skate to Create" podcast.  Said he was working on his own board company to launch in early 2015.....

Nah, he's probably only about 30. He was really young when he fist came up.

Glad P-rod is hooking up some proper people. I really thought his team would be full of the guys that were in that Pain Is Beauty video.

The best move he has made to date, Bastien is the illest and I'm sure we can expect a part in the near future.

I sure hope P-rod has a part saved up. I don't see how he wouldn't with the amount of time between parts that he's had.

Nick Tucker was supposed to drop his Pro part a while ago but it kept getting pushed back so I'm guessing they'll do some promo video featuring the 2 of them with a few clips from the other guys, similar to that Marquis Henry/Boo Johnson DGK web part

I first met Bastien at a demo in FLA when he was a little kid on Flip. The dude ripped and was super nice. I'm very happy that he is getting hooked up and paid like he should have been this whole time.

That company seems doomed from the start. He should continue his trend of terribly biting other peoples' shit, rip off FA and call it Jockey.

Am I the only one that thinks Chris Cole isn't as big of a name in skateboarding anymore? At least not as much as he use to be and it doesn't seem that he has much of a following anymore.
