Ron Knigge. He was damn good and I think he was on the verge of escaping the small wheel big pants flip flop era with some dignity and moving on to better skating. Not sure what happened to him after those early New Deal vids.

Markus Wyndham. He was sick in the old Planet Earth video (Animal Farm). Switch inward heel big spin off a big set, before anyone did much switch shit or inward heels. Not that inward heels are all that dope, but at the time I don't even think people knew what he did.

I remember a Phantom trucks ad, mid 2000's, with a guy named Dave Duran (I think) doing a switch back tail down like a 10 stair rail.  Seemed pretty ahead of it's time.

dan peterka. it's a shame that he ditched his super smooth skateboard style for a snowboard career. (or at least that's what i think happened)

dave duran wasn't a stunt guy so it's hard to imagine that...

Who was that Nate something or other who was from Baltimore and skated for Powell in the early 2000s? I saw him skate in person a few times and he was super consistent. Didn't have the prettiest style on video but again, in person skated really fast and powerfully.

Scratch the "Nate". Turns out the guy I was referring to was Rodney Jones.

My mom has been doing that 25+ years and it's way better pay if you're a dude, no joke. Plus the stories when you ask are pretty fucking out there and great material if you ever want to write.

It was just a way bad luck "finders keepers" story, that took a turn for the worst. He gave it back and said sorry, but got the shit end of the stick which happened to slow/ruin his career to an extent. It didn't really seem that nefarious on his part. He should of just took it to "lost and found" or something (or lie and say he was taking there).
If someone found my lost Ipod & I saw them with it, I'd just ask for it back and it'd be resolved fairly simple instead of seeking harsh penalties.

Chad fernandez. Willy santos. Jt aultz.

Chad Fernandez still pops up every once in a while.  I remember a few years back when the berrics had that skate talk live thing and chad was on there and they showed a new part of him and it was actually pretty damn good.  I think he might also be in the Maloof Money Cup.

How about Casey Rigney? I frequent this thread but I'm not sure if he has been brought up before or if any info about him exists. His Digital part is still completley legit. First guy to switch flip backlip a handrail (a small steep one at that)

He went pro for Arcade when they did their reboot a few years ago...Jon Newport was on the team too, no idea whatever happened with that

Brian Heck? mid 2000s consolidated dude, always thought his skating was ahead of it's time

sanch dont be mad because your wife used to clean my mansion
