Has anyone ordered a double deck box recently and not gotten their requested shape(s)? Really tempted to order one but they didn't give me my requested shape last time, they got it right the first 3 boxes I ordered.

Hoping they put out a new 8.1 shape soon

Without looking it up I assume you got the 8.3 that Carroll designed that’s utterly unskateable to me. My guess would be try it with aces to help with the tail

You nailed it, and thanks for the suggestion. I actually threw on my usual Thunder 148s and it felt great. I think the short tail simplified my foot setup. Who knows. Watch, I’ll probably have a shit session tomorrow and blame it on the deck, lol.

honestly when I had mine I was on ventures, so I wasn't doing myself any favors. I wish I liked it because I would love to ride a Crail 8.3

i also didn’t really like that shape but i have a homie who loves it, says the short tail is great for certain flip tricks (360 flip variations mostly, and i agree, it did work great for those) and he does a bunch of nollie back tails, the short tail didn’t seem to be a problem there too

I don’t think they ditched that shape. I see plenty of G069 shapes available from Girl and Chocolate on tactics, skatewarehouse, etc. I hope they don’t ditch that shape because that’s what I’ve been skating for the last 3+ years.

Atleast shape guide doesn't have it anymore. Might be older stock?

You used to be able to mention shape in your messages and they'd get you those but my last two boxes, I got none of the shapes I requested, so I don't have much faith in that anymore to the point where I stopped ordering them.

Are all crailtap 8.25 decks so flat (concave)?
I would love the decks, but I need more concave. Like alien decks, fa or pizza

How is the go89 concave? Flatter too?
Cause that one has a longer tail and would be good if the concave would be not that flat

Has anyone ever found a similar shape to the G053 from any of the other woodshops? I tried a Sci-fi 8.38 with similar specs, but the wheel base was too short for my liking. I really like wider wheelbases (14.4+) and 8.5 width.
