This thread has been a fun read. I'm a couple beers in and made it through the full 11 pages!

Does the car world have the same sort of "my spot. my trick." philosophy? If you build a camaro and some guy built a similar camaro but he put green fuzzy dice in the mirror 7 years before, can he be like "great look at this fucking guy" or does nobody actually give a shit
Even though I'm sure your being sarcastic....
100% it applies.... Unless it's the same car company giving a nod to the past generation that they themselves created. Such as all the new retro cars.
lol, I read that post and couldn't help but laugh because it seems even
more true in the car world, but maybe that's because I'm way deeper in the auto industry than skate side of things. It sounds silly but in the car scene, especially show scene, you never want to straight copy someone else's build on the same platform, and you will never be taken seriously if you do. Skateboarding is a little different in my eyes, but automotive and skateboard cultures have a lot of similarities.
Props on your cars, man, keep doing what you're doing. I've made a career out of the automotive aftermarket, really wish I could be tied into skateboarding side of things as well. Oh and hey, if you ever need wheels for one of the Bimmers, HMU!
