this may be a dumb idea but, i was thinking it could turn out to be a cool thread. the idea is that i will start off by posting two parts that i like and then you pick which one you like better or which one you think is better of the two and tell us why. you could even say 'i like the first part better but, i think the second one is technically better'. after you pick the one you like better, you post one of your own favorites against the part you favored above you and it keeps going like that. it could be two polar opposites (daewon versus puleo) or it could be two people who skate somewhat alike such as a rowley versus arto or something like that. i'll start it off with two of my all time favorites and you guys take it from there if you like the idea.

Both of your parts are amazing. I like Julien Stranger's part more, that front blunt on the curb in the beginning was amazing. But Ethan Fowler's style is soooooooo damn nice.

Stranger is my favorite of the 2. If you like both parts then you will appreciate Ryan Johnson. Dude has been killing it since the Sonic days and one of the most underrated/underground rippers ever! He shreds pools barefoot with style as smooth as Ethan. It's like the gnarness of Julian meets Ethans smooth style and slick looks. He won Slam City Jam in 2000 (Ethan won that one contest in 95' in Europe) so they both have contest wins too. Not saying contest wins mean more than Julian...just stating it for similar comparison of the two.

hold on, what if when you choose your favorite part from the previous two it continues on and the next person has to post that one and put it up against another one of their favorite parts? it would be kind of cool to see how long of a streak a single part could go on. just a suggestion.

ya know that does sound like a pretty good idea and it would leave more room for more video parts to be posted since it would technically be one at a time as opposed to 2. i'm me down for it. so, now it's stranger and ryan johnson i guess. up to you.

ali boulala was my favorite skater as a kid and that part has my heart forever but, mark in video days is damn near unbeatable. here's one that might top it though and mark actually opens it up with his own words, that's right..

yeah technically it should have played out like that but, the 'rules' got changed whenever HSS posted his idea and maybe people got a bit confused. so just so everyone knows, after you pick the part that you like more of the two posted above you, you have to post the same part that you picked as a winner out of the two against a new one of your choice.

edit : right now the reigning champ is jerry hsu's part in bag of suck. so, the next poster will pick either his part or rod feren's part and choose a new part of your own to go up against it. sorry about the mix-up everyone and, try to ignore the posts that are out of place. remember, everytime a part beats another part it goes up against the part of your choice if you are the next poster. have fun.
