it's a real good part, but this corny music shit is dying for a quartersnacks trap remix. i was just saying in the other thread how Jason Hernandez is good, but Strobeck gets better angles of this dude's skating and understands how to present it well. his style is sick, reminds me of Donovan Piscopo

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.. But calling the Alabama Shakes corny, while implying trap music isn't, is pretty difficult to take with any degree of seriousness.

It was a slow build up to probably the best ender of the video.

This is part is like when an upper class all white private school with one lower class minority kid is being visited by an important government official or something and so the school tries its hardest to prove that the kid is a real nice one of a kinda kid by dressing the kid up, hiring fake parents, and other wild shit to cover up the minority kid's gully-ness.

I rewatched that Frontside 360 to backside 360 kickflip about 20 times when I first watched this part

that's kinda what i'm saying, like Kev himself would have chosen a much different song. but this is a Nike part, so kid and family-friendly.

It's a good part, I like how the song fits, (never heard of the band though), it's much better than the awful 2015 trend of using trap (which means transgender) music.

Why even put the "lifestyle" shit in a part this good, the skating is enough and then some

Honestly this part fits well with alabama shakes. The only issue I have is that the song gets old fast but the part doesn't. Instead of getting a trap remix why not get a different with the same style of music.

This was my favourite part hands down. I thought the music was awesome and worked well. Kid has a powerhouse vibe but comes through with amazing bs 360 kickflips. Co - signed.

all the lines in it suck and have shitty flow.  that first one is pretty brutal and doesn't go anywhere.

but all the last tricks are incredible.  i'm a big fan of Kevin, just not this part.

Agree...

Why even put the "lifestyle" shit in a part this good, the skating is enough and then some

Agree too...way too many lifestyle shots...

With the others saying there is a subtle racist corporate vibe...I kind of slightly felt the same to a very small degree with the editing/timing of the music and lifestyle shots of him turning his head like he's some Motown singer @ 1:53. I don't know, but all I know is the overuse of lifestyle shots was cringe worthy. They definitely didn't use Strobeck'esque lifestyle shots which would have been way funnier/sicker with the family car trip music.

Front 3 line with the bs kf 360 is unbelievable, easily one of the best front 3's ever, imo. Also I like how Kevin goes for those gaps with a narrow landing, he did one in a Strobeck edit, this one he does a front shuv, thought that was sick could have ended shitty if he fucked up. I hope he keeps that up, it would be a cool thing to be known for. Just realized Boulala had a few sick ones in Sorry.

Just watched it for the first time since I saw the full video. I love watching Kev skate, but this part was so underwhelming that I almost didn't finish it. I'm pretty bummed on how it all turned out. The dry editing took away so much from his skating.
Oh well. I'm sure we'll see plenty of footage from him, and the rest of the FA/Hockey dudes, that'll make up for this travesty in 2016.

Sick skating, dude fucking rips. The song might work with the edit itself but doesn't fit his image at all. How they got him skating to the Alabama Shakes while Trevor Colden's skates to Hustler Musik by Lil Wayne in the same video?  Would've been a more impactful part with a more suitable song
