I have some 440's coming tomorrow and hope they work out.  I've ridden Adidas exclusively for the last 5 years, but wanted to change it up.

All the sizing talk has me fucked up, but as someone who fit tts in Busenitz Pro's, I'm hoping I'm ok.
[close]

I wear a 10.5 in busenitz pros and 10.5 in the 440 fits me perfectly. Both of these shoes are my go to cupsoles.

I'm actually the same in these two shoes, but I also find that I need to go .5 size up in the Busenitz.

So 11 in normal shoes, but 11.5 in Busenitz and 11.5 in 440.

Just got these today.  Feeling comfortable in my true size.  They seem lower profile than the Suciu ADV's I was on the last couple years.  Hoping they bridge the gap between vulc and cup for my 36 year old knees.

How long did yours take to ship from order? I ordered my 440's last week and still haven't gotten any shipping info but just got an email today saying they're looking into it.

Those will be up on 3/15 I think on our site.  Some shops got their delivery a little early so they get them up fast but I usually keep our stuff off until mid month or 4/1 just to give them a head start on sales.

good deal, thanks! Some new colorways for other models too?

I posted on the previous page about size differences in the 913 for a size 12 and 13. I thought I read you commenting on some sizing revisions that took place a year or two ago, maybe more? The size 12 older teal/black 913 I picked up are SO undersized it’s crazy.

Sick. Like the inspiration and retro feel of that white colorway. In line with other NB releases so far this year like the ALD 825 and the 992.

What's the difference between a corporate brand like nike or adidas vs new balance. Not a troll question just seen these carried pretty often at core shops.

I thought the exact opposite, 868's look better to me. And I'd rather skate 913's.
1010 sole is too organic for me and I don't like long heels on skate shoes, make my feet feel like skis.
But with the retro, fluffy shoe crowd this could be a hit. Brazil colorway after the Olympics?

What's the best cheap NB shoe?
Vulc, cupsole, midsole?
What's cheap to you? I survived most of the 90's running $50-60 shoes so my opinions are a lil skewed.

Vulc. Not a big fan of their vintage tread pattern and I don't skate vulcs anymore..
212 is too retro/vintage/throwback for me and I don't like the side panel on the toecap, but that fits the vintage look. These have flat insoles?
255 is Arto's shoe? Nice, simple, similar to his Gravis model.. toecap panel goes over side panel to help protect seams
379. Futuristic looking toecap but I dig the overall look
306 Foy. Foy.. 'nuff said..

Cupsole
440 seems nice. Reminds me of a simpler 90's shoes
old 288. Ditto. Probably good sale deals..

Midsole
533 NLA? Sale deals?
288s looks nice but haven't tried it. Seems like it'd work for me..
913 is probably worth $100 but I'm a cheap ass.. for $60-65 it's a godsend! Nice grip, flick, cushioning. Not too flashy..
868 super steezy if you can pull off puffier shoes..

not saying these are better, but i'm less sad they won't be available anymore since these seem to at least fill the niche the 868 left. i'm personally digging the wavy outsole, it's not overdone like in other models attempting a chunky sole look. the all black colorway especially looks super dope imo.

868s are sick though, i want to get them at some point when they rerelease.

new balance is actually privately held, not a publicly traded company like nike or adidas.
i think this is a huge reason why nb# took several seasons off selling products to retool shoes. they were trying to get a product that was up to their standards from where the black box licensing deal left off. and they didnt boot their team or employees from my understanding

Nope, 255 are a team model. Arto had the 358 which for me they weren't anything special.
