Anyone else miss the cupsole 574’s?
The vulc version is not doing it for me. I thought the 440 v2’s were rad at first, I was stoked they made a new shoe in wide sizing, and liked the high versions too, but they don’t seem to be as durable or supportive as the cupsole 574.
Is there any chance of them coming back?

I feel you regarding the 440v2, for me they have the "Blazer effect". Great to skate but after 1 month they crap out and feel like shit.

I liked them as well, you can still find the lifestyle version sporadically on eBay or something, it’s called the allcoast 574, while it doesn’t have the better materials of the numeric model I always superglue the stitching on my shoes and they would last alright, definitely liked the cupsole skate version better, while I wish they would bring it back, they prolly have enough cupsoles currently in the lineup to cater to most people so I could see that as a reason not to bring it back, but yea great shoe that was gone too soon

Takes a little sting about the Reynolds not being in 10.5.  I wonder if Trahan gets any money for these since he’s the reason for the collab

huh. Never in a hundred years would I have expect chocolate and NB to collab. I thought Lakai had them firmly locked down.

Why do I feel like this isn’t the first one?   Wasn’t there a 868 or one of the older models that was a Chocolate collab…or maybe I’m thinking adidas

I'm really hoping this will take away some of the pain of those that missed that 480 Reynolds since they're somewhat similar color offerings.  The Chocolate one is really nice too.  Comes with multiple inserts, a bag and lots of laces for various options.  There's a hi and a low as well.  The low should be readily available for those that want it.

I think the first time anyone sees it should be as a tease in this beast of a NB# vid that’s coming out soon, the one that will basically be Foy vs Tiago for SOTY

Exciting!

Maybe a stupid question, but is the high a different colorway?

I was like "Nice, I don't care about this shoe" (since I've been buying way too many shoes) and then you're "There's a hi".

The black leather highs are my favourite shoe of the year 😍 Definitely trying to get a pair to skate and a pair to chill.

999 for his obsession with 3’s… x3. Plus it’s the inverse of 666, signifying the Boss’ turnaround from Piss Drunx to sober livin’ elder statesman making a positive impact.

That's clearly designed for seniors who need a supportive shoe that's easily accessible to put on/off with that little side zipper. So yeah, pretty cool for NB to make practical shoes for older folks either on/off the board.
