I'm not compensating for anything. I was born in Long Beach and have spent most of my life in Los Angeles. I'm not a huge fan of Victorville, but I certainly don't carry shame because I was an unwilling resident there.

Many great skateboarders came from Victorville: Bryan Herman, Mike White, Antwuan Dixon, Matt Allen, just to name a few. It also has some great spots that are in almost every major video. I don't care for the city but I'm not embarrassed because I used to live there.

I was being sardonic when I listed poor grammar and spelling skills as grounds for further dislike. I was being over analytical and sarcastic in an attempt to convey my message in a humorous manner. When critiquing a professional skateboarder's etiquette, I often choose to play the misanthropic antagonist as a means to broadcast my opinion through this medium.
