Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think anyone has said: "Zumiez is tight!"

I think we are just analyzing how successful they have been at selling skateboard products. They have been in the game since 1978. That's some serious hustle.

It would be interesting to know how big a role Zumiez plays in the overall sales for these companies, it's gotta be significant:

Does anyone know how many independent skateboard shops there are in the world?

I'd guess its probably around 500. I know Australia only has about 15 and New Zealand has 8. The US and europe definitely have a lot though.
