Registration Troubles

Hi,

My mate has decided to start a slap account and has had problems creating his account. I then tried to help him, thinking he was doing something stupidly wrong but upon entering his data I got a notification saying that the email that I entered was already in use and that I should try hitting the "forgot the password" button. When I clicked there, I got a message that the process could not be completed because there is not an account associated with the email that I entered.

The email in use is

Is there anything that can be done to reset the whole procedure and start over again?
