Make sure that you wax the shit out of anything people are already happily skating. Also, make sure you try that trick you'll never land, as fast as you can, next to the only bit in the park where anyone is sitting/starting from.

If you're gonna stick a screwdriver up a child's ass make sure to tell the whole world about it and then never speak of it again. EVER. No matter what.

after landing any full cab variation, take off your shirt and cheer to your crowd. Self props, a must.

Walk into the park as if you're the best skateboarder there, and eye out anyone who you don't recognize.

When other skaters are at a spot, speak loudly about all the tricks you have done there (even though you have never done shit at said spot) and say "nah I don't think you can land that" whenever someone attempts a trick.

Purposefully snake someone and say "sorry" but deep down you meant to cut them off because you're a piece of fucking shit that no one really likes

Skateboard Etiquette: rule #0

Don't act in a way that requires us to create another rule.

All props must be given in the form of "YEEEEEEWWWWWWWW" or an aggrresive hand slap
What about the good old smacking your board on the ground?

That's only acceptable if trick was performed on a vertical surface

If someone gets a clip, everyone there must give that skater a hug. Also, the filmer must film all of the hugs.

Your whole crew must skate topless, even in the middle of winter. Dickies, chuck taylors, and a pouch of rolling tobacco are also a must.

Out of courtesy, avoid filming tricks on any cellar doors. You know, just in case he's sitting on unreleased footy.

bring a spare non-pink dad hat when you go to the skatepark in case someone else is wearing one.

If you've recently picked up skateboarding after a long layoff, you have to wear mid-tops/high-tops. It's the law!

when you show up to a backyard mini for the first time you must drop in and pivot fakie the first wall to let the regulars know you demand respect.

make sure you decorate those cupcakes with either the monster, redbull or mtn dew logo... nike swoosh is also acceptable, but if you don't put the SB on them, you'll be forever kook'd... that's just unacceptable jock shit without the SB.

If someone breaks a board ask if you can have their "trunks".
if you are trying to get a trick on film apologize to the filmer everytime you don't get it.

If you quit skating, don't pretend it's because your life is too complicated, just admit that you are lame.

NEVER say hi first to somebody who isn't as good at skating as you. If they are way worse, look right through them if they try to talk to you, as you are better than them in all regards and obviously have nothing in common.

If somebody is ripping, tell them about the guy you know who is better than them

Always claim Gonz or Cards are your favorite skater, even if you don't know who they are
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

If you happen to be friends with a well known skater, and are talking to someone who obviously does not know them personally - be sure to refer to them by a first name basis. Once they ask "Tony, who?" - Respond with "oh Tony Hawk" so they know how cool you are.
