Gave us two amazing parts that changed the game, and made a bunch of money off of them. Don't really feel bad for him if he can't skate anymore, alot of people have it way worse than him.
I don't mean this in a confrontational way, but do you really think he changed the game? That's a heavy statement.
These are who I would call, "game changers" broken up into very rough 5 year spans and without thinking about it too much.
80-85: Mullen (flip tricks)
85-90: Gonz/Natas (street)
90-95: Sanchez/EMB heads and Ricky/Love heads (tech/plaza)
95-00: Duffy/The Chief/Reynolds (handrail/hammers)
00-05: Way (Mega)
05-10: PJ (tech, again, but also style/speed)
10-15: Dylan/Polar/Supreme (refined trick selection/style on and off the board)
Dunno if I agree with this...from my perspective it looked more like
95-00 was still EMB ---> X-games
00-05 seemed more along the Koston/McCrank style I would add PJ-Ladd (2002 WHL) here also
05-10 Tech Era Cole/Daewon/Mike Mo
10-15 Mega Hammers b2b Consistency b2b NBD b2b Competitions (Prod, Nyjah, Luan, etc)
