Have always like the overall aesthetic in all Alien Videos. They have some misses, but in general, I really like what they use. I'm generally a heavy hip-hop fan, but I think the music choices in Alien videos such as the heavy use of Dino Jr/J Mascis is amazing. I'd actually say in general, Greg Hunt does a really good job with most videos he is in-charge of. Also really liked Modus and Sight Unseen (that Sanchez part made me a massive Cali Agents fan).

a bunch of songs from hocus pocus
Yes. Shackle Me Not even more so for me. And Santa Cruz's Wheels of Fire and Streets on Fire.
All of them still memorized beginning to end, back to front. Some things you just don't ever forget.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that Menikmati could be ruined for me, but somehow that asshole (Koston) did it.
Even all the beautiful dorking around in Chomp on This, all I can think is "this adult man tells children to die on Instagram".
Seriously, fuck Koston forever. -Mattchew

The old New Deal videos had a lot of good SoCal/British/Pop-punk stuff going on.  Growing up skating is a great way to got into a lot of different music.  Look at Video Days.  Five parts and you got, Jackson 5, Dino Jr., Black Flag, Coltrane, and Milk.

Useless Wooden Toys, duh.

The Element - World Tour video had a pretty sick soundtrack.

Of course, Shackle Me Not, Hocus Pocus, and Firehose in Natas' part in Streets of Fire.

the pj video and the lesser seen 3rd coliseum video [boston massacre]. southie always skates to pulp, morrissey or something good. twisted sister for vey, but mostly it had a britpop soundtrack like pjwhl. if you really going ditc there's a 1999 coliseum video before pj's life was wonderful or horrible and he skates to common people, he skates spots like average common people do.

To anyone who said Video Days or Misled Youth, you are correct. One I haven't seen mentioned, and there is a reason I can see it why it would be excluded, the DC video (Colin McKay uses possibly the worst song in the history of music). Nugent, Tortoise, Gang Starr, Erik B & Rakim, Metallica, etc., come on. Also, FTC- Finally.

Boyish & Worship Friendship by Jackson Casey (incredible music and editing, heavy influence on my music/filming taste today)

...and of course the videos that defined my idea of skateboarding: Baker 3 / Mindfield / Yeah Right! ;D

Yes indeed.  One of the only videos I had growing up, nearly broke the damn cassette.  Come to think of it, I really like a lot of foundation soundtracks.  That's Life had some good stuff on it, especially Strubing with the Interpol track and Shimizu with Gang of Four.

this is skateboarding, sorry, and really sorry definitely had a huge influence on my musical taste from seeing them at such an impressionable age. also menikmati using instrumental stuff like amon tobin. i miss late 90'/early 2000's skate vids with cool drum n bass songs in em, makes everything seem so intense lol
