Vegan skate shoes

I’m in a slump waiting for the spanlys … might even get another pair of 420s to tide me over because eS Quattros don’t get distro over here and not sure if I’ll skate my blondeys.
Is the sizing on the eS accel tts? I wear true to size in accel plus but I could probably 0.5 size depending on insoles and thickness of my socks

@Gray Imp Sausage Metal I've found most eS cups to be TTS with respect to other brand cupsoles. I'm an 8 in other Soletech cups, as well as in Adidas cups, Lakai cups, and the new Van's Skate model vulcs.

I doubt eS has a different mold for the vegan models (AFAIK soles are vegan?), but I may be mistaken.

The Soletech vulcs, on the other hand, run about a 1/2 size larger in my experience (just trying them on, never skated them).

Caveat - I haven't tried a pair of the Accels on for a while, but the last time I did, the Slims had a non-removable insole. I think that's been fixed though.

Accel OGs feel pretty poofy right now and have a somewhat "stumpy" toe so they're not as contoured as an Accel Slim, Slim Plus, Swift 1.5, etc. Keep that in mind.

They've been TTS for me but you could go 0.5 up if you're worried the poof is too smothering. Adding an insole on top or completely swapping the thin foam one will help with fit and comfort. That worked for me in the past with some STI insoles from a Marana.  It's easy to take the Accel OG insoles out when you get em new.

Thanks guys/ gals, was having a bit of a skate shoe breakdown and spanlys don’t drop until July apparently. Would be a great to have a local that stocks vegan models, but I order everything online. I’ve found some grey/ gum joslins and while they are pricey, I think they might just do the trick!

Been lurking hard for a pair of canvas hi top all black last resorts mainly because I think I could get away with wearing them to work. If anyone comes across a pair online, please let me know. It does @kneebone, and I was almost contemplating some emerica temples (or maybe even Dicksons) because they look pretty beefy for a vulc. Don’t think the white caspians have dropped here yet…

I'm loving the Emerica Temples, the soles are really sticky, and the shoe doesn't feel extremely bulky as I previously feared. They are fairly puffy, I'd recommend them if you'd like a fatter Windrow. They're on sale right now too. They run TTS.

I'm loving the Emerica Temples, the soles are really sticky, and the shoe doesn't feel extremely bulky as I previously feared. They are fairly puffy, I'd recommend them if you'd like a fatter Windrow. They're on sale right now too. They run TTS.

I really like the look of these high foxing tape "wrapped" Skate Slip-ons, but I'm reluctant to buy them because of how much everyone has been complaining about the fit of the revamped skate slip-ons.  I loved the AA slip-ons with the toe cap when they were the "pro" construction tho, and these remind me of those.

Current pair of Joslin 1s.

I've been on a steady diet of this shoe the last couple years. This is maybe my 10th pair. But the first Vegan pair I've had. Pretty much the same as the suede. They were a little tighter during the initial break in period than the suede. But not enough to warrant sizing down. The flick was also a little slippery feeling in the beginning, compared to suede. But once they got scuffed up, I can't really tell a difference. I've been skating in these over a month now and they're not wearing down any faster than the suedes normally do.

i got a pair of the skate slips recently and found that if you replace the insole to something a tad lower, they are a much better fit. like for mine, i replaced the popcush with a cons insole and they fit pretty good now!
