I really like the look of these high foxing tape "wrapped" Skate Slip-ons, but I'm reluctant to buy them because of how much everyone has been complaining about the fit of the revamped skate slip-ons.  I loved the AA slip-ons with the toe cap when they were the "pro" construction tho, and these remind me of those.

i got a pair of the skate slips recently and found that if you replace the insole to something a tad lower, they are a much better fit. like for mine, i replaced the popcush with a cons insole and they fit pretty good now!

Is this the same Everstitch that's synthetic? I know they usually just say synth suede, not sure if it is that or if it's listed different altogether as it's Everstitch.

Just came here to say I bought a pair of the black/black Joslin Vulc's recently and they're by far the best vegan skate shoe I've ever had.  Usually I have to shoe goo the kickflip area after half a session but these don't even have a mark after three heavy days of skating.  Way more support than I'm used to with vegan shoes too.  Can't recommend these enough.  I bought 5 more backup pairs after my first session.

Getting a pair tomorrow

How would you compare the skate slip ons with insole removed/swapped vs a standard classic vans slip on? I've basically always got a game of what insole works swapping around between like a dozen pairs of shoes going and am kinda over it.

Hey dude, any time. So that color way of the KSL just arrived as it was the last shoe being delivered for the season from our cuspole factory. With us just getting them here in the U.S. then they should be arriving internationally here pretty soon. The Provost G6 is available out there because that shoe arrived back in June and then sent to retailers and distributors. My advice would be to hit up any shops including those already mentioned and just ask if they ordered that color way. If not, I'm more than happy to try to find out what other shops will be carrying them.

I'm not vegan nor do I think I've ever skated synthetic suede before, so I'm here to ask if anyone can compare it to real suede in terms of durability? Mainly cause I have those new all black KSL's on my radar and they're advertised as synth. Much appreciated!

Ask a vegan skater who is hard on shoes (I’m not).
What I can say after 20+ years of wearing vegan kicks is that they won’t bag out/ or stretch like suede does. Sole tech have had some pretty cool materials over the years, but their current synth stuff is pretty tough for the type of skating I do, if you’re hard on shoes might be an idea to shoe goo/ superglue in advance though…

My eS Caspians have held up better than any shoe that i've had in the past 2 decades and they've still got life in them. I'd say they are easily on par with animal suede as far as durability, and as GISM pointed out, they don't stretch or bag out.

I’ve been really impressed with my Quentin’s even grabbed a second pair while 40$ shipped on emerica site. have not had to bust out the glue yet after 4 sessions. Not to mention their cupsoles are the best out.

Whatever synth suede eS use, is banging. Doesn't bag out or wear weirdly.

My Accels are still holding up really well, only really had to glue up the laces as I usually bust those in the first session.

Interesting! If it's a Ryan Lay thing, then I'm guessing it will be a 440 hi, which i'm less into. Would love a vegan 440 lo. Either way, glad Ryan is having that influence there and not just settling for leather shoes as he has been post-etnies
