Vegan skate shoes

I got some Samarria New Balance 213's in size 9. Sized down half a size as recommended and they're still way too big. These things are huge! My husband with size 11 feet said they fit him perfectly.

The materials feel soft like suede. You can really feel the difference in how pliable these are compared to the vegan accel slims I usually buy. Bummer that they run so large.

First skate in the microfibre Accel Plus and they're pretty darn good, hoping the material holds up. It's a weird material to see wear compared to suede, but it feels fairly sturdy.

I just glued up the stitching since I didn't do that last time I had the Everstiches and it was the only part to really go.

If it's the same stuff the symbols were made of it holds up pretty well, but leaves fuzzy streaks in your griptape.
Is it basically an everstitch minus the everstitch? That is my favorite shoe in recent years.

mine just arrived and as I tried them
on I breathed a huge sigh of relief; the sizing seems absolutely perfect for my foot size! Surprised they don’t have tongue straps but the ankle strap seems really solid! Will chuck some footprints and take em out for a spin next week, but I already know how well the outsole performs

Just got a pair of Sheep Calli Vulc X in the mail. Not crazy about the pastel pink, so I got plans to dunk them in some black Rit dye. They fit TTS and are comfortable

Also, I gotta say, shopping for vegan skate shoes locally has been fucking impossible. I got cool guyed from the owner of the local shop. Something along the lines of “you’re wasting the already dead animal”. Dude, I just wanted to exchange my currency for goods, why you gotta make it weird

that sucks, even if you don’t understand personally why someone would want vegan shoes, you should still be sympathetic for the desire to at least have options. Like I don’t necessarily agree with Halal practices, but I can at least see why Muslim people would want halal options...

Definitely rock the pink ! You’d prob have to be lack em white 1st or they will turn doo doo brown . I tried to dye a pair of salmon colored paints , shit brown .

Just saw in the general upcoming release thread that new colors of the Vans AA authentic high are coming.  Red canvas and white canvas previewed.  This has been one of the best shoes I've skated in years!
