I'm skating with the Synth Rowley right now. I enjoy skating in them, but their durability is lacking compared to the Nike Blazer Doyenne, which I skated in previously. I wonder why Nike doesn't release a simpler version of this shoe without all the limited edition stuff. The toe cap on the Blazer was incredibly durable; I could skate in them for two months without issue. With the Synth Rowley, I already had a hole in the flick area after just two weeks and had to patch it up with shoe goo.

Looks like we're getting our first proper Skate Half Cab tomorrow via Boys of Summer, but of course it's camo and with writing all over the foxing tape  :-\

I was debating on getting them but I couldn't imagine having two random dude's names plastered all over my shoes

Sorry for spamming, but is anyone interested in a lightly skated vegan spanky us9? I realized cupsole doesn't work for me, unfortunately. $35 shipped.
Also, did anyone try the Winkoswki shoe yet? I had a good experience with his Omen Hi color.

What shoes are you skating at the moment? Having a shoe crisis
[close]

I've been skating the #NB 272 synthetics. They're comfy and protective, although the stock insole is terrible. So I swapped 'em out for some eS STI insoles.

Before I was skating the Nyjah 3's, they're 25-35 euros here. I'd take a utility knife and scrap off the Nike logos and paint over the Nyjah branding. Not a dig toward Nike or Nyjah, just felt it looked lame. I like the longevity and board feel of the Nyjah's, unfortunately, the porpoise-like toe cap started to inflame the toes on my reg pushing foot. Andrew Cannon had the same issue with the Nyjah's and had toe surgery.

It feels like vegan options are dire these days. I have two pairs of the synth 272's left, then I don't know what I'm going to do, the supply is dwindling and they're now almost 100€ a pair.

Hey, I was wondering about your Andrew Cannon sentence.  I don't know where else to look besides youtube and instagram but it seemed to me he had the surgery prior to skating the Nyjah 3's?

And his last skate challenge video from 3 weeks ago he seems to be skating them still:

Not calling you out, just looking for more info if you have it.  I ask because I'm vacillating between the Nyjah 3's and the non-vegan shoes (Tyshawns) I usually use.  More concerned about my heels lately then forefoot though.

You're right, I must have gotten things conflated. My bad. He says the Nyjah 2's bothered his toe, because of the thin sole in the above video. There's some sort of aerated cushion in the heel of the 3's. Hucking is kinda comfy in them.

That time will come - maybe even Memorial Day.

However I think i would feel Self conscious wearing a shoe and having people think I was an && Stan. But that’s my problem, shoe actually looks good for skating.

Cannon is currently skating the etnies windrow. He did an instagram story about it a couple of days ago.
Mine arrived today. Really digging the look and feel. Looking forward to skate them.

Loved the Winkowski Omen color way. My favorite shoe in recent history. I just picked up his new shoe (the vegan one obviously). Haven't skated it yet but I gotta say its super fucking comfortable... Like weirdly comfortable for a skate shoe... I'm skating em sometime this week and will report back.

I'm interested to try these Lakai Wilkins in white canvas. Looks like they've got kind of a hybrid vulc/cup sole, or is it just that the foxing tape is raised up a bit off the bottom of the sole?

Skated the shit out of them, over last weekend. Loved em. Rubber protects from ollie holes and the shoe is stupid comfy, especially after being broken in. I highly suggest.

Can't say for sure but don't know how much faith I'd put into the "cupsole" on these. Look pretty much like the Leo's you didn't like

We just got in the first vegan version of the 440 V2. I've been wearing them and they feel great more supportive than the V1's. Should be skating in them in the next day or two.

Yes they will but that order is coming later. But you can order them on the website and choose to pick up at Nocturnal as your delivery option. Or if you need to try pairs on just DM me on instagram (@benkinetic or @kineticskateboarding) and I can bring some pairs up to Philly.

Yeah I tried the Winkowskis and his Omen Hi. Honestly a big fan of both. They were both really durable. Skating canvas Nike blazers now and the Omens and Winkowskis are definitely a better choice imo.

Managed to find a pair of 420s from a late line in 2018, pretty stoked.

Hoping the sizing isn't fucky, but it is a full size up. Fingers crossed.

I've been making do with an older line of Accel Plus Slims or w/e their actual model name is, the ice blue sole ones. I haven't been skating loads however the left foot is fucked from stopping myself filming, so it's not long until I retire them and go onto the other pair of Everstichs I got from years ago.

I realized I tend to have a lot of old stock of stuff haha.

wound up ordering these from zappos so i could get hassle-free returns. I think they'd skate great, but they're just slightly too small, so back to the Amazon warehouse they go.
