So it’s unlikely we’ll (ever) get a 933, but in the meantime we have 1 heretic colourway to keep us going, back to I-path for the meantime I guess? I doubt LRAB are ever gunna drop a vegan cup either. What a sad state of affairs in 2025…

I know you don’t wear red shoes but the Curren Caples shoe has one current vegan option and I have to believe there will be future non-red canvas versions. Also the Nyjah 4 looks like it will maintain its vegan-ness (tho I recognize all the baggage that comes with that one)

EDIT: oh damn I just watched the Bluetile video on the Currens and turns out they changed the red ones to have a suede toe for the final release. Bummer

godamnit! i have a red shoe aversion too but was almost convinced to give them a shot. vans has a habit of ruining shoes that are so close. i feel lucky that the 440s work well enough for me to just hoard those when restock hits. not the biggest nb fan but options are scarce.

personally, i've given up on nideckertech. using copywriting like this comes across intentionally misleading:
"STI Energy Foam Footbed - Full-length foam cushion that absorbs impact for long-lasting comfort during intense sessions."
it's just and sti insole but they seem to want us to infer it's a midsole. what insole isn't "full length"?  they lied about mute having "full length" midsole too. with them now having nidecker money there is even less excuse for this crap. if they can't be upfront with their supporters they can fuck off in my book... anybody tried the Village PM yet?

Just ordered a pair of Village PM 1:30's. I would have rather gotten the all black 1PM's, but I couldn't find out if they're vegan. I'll let you all know how they skate

Those look good, but skate shops in the US didn’t get the Always x Superstar shoes. Only fashion sites, reseller sites, and Adidas had them for sale.

I would love to get a pair, but I doubt any skate shops will have them. Plus, I got two pairs of the Doyenne Blazer Lows, so I don’t need any more shoes at the moment.

Still waiting for the IPATH drop so I can get the olive low-top Cats with the black soles.

these are actually pretty good, old school court-style non-puffy cupsole with nice midsole and nice insole (wish the logo was smaller/nonexistent, but beggars can't be choosers these days):

We can definitely choose to not buy Fallen, especially given the latest development dropping their Ukrainian rider

We have restocks of #440v2 and multiple IPATH shoes.

Plus, that Always x Adidas Pro Model is making it out to skate shops. 3:00 AM EST for Atlas and 10 AM EST for Premier.

There’s no reason to buy Fallen or anything JT is involved with, because we have plenty of other options with logos that aren’t as atrocious.

If anyone needs the Emerica KSL US9 in black. I can send a gently worn pair within the US if you cover the shipping. I realized I can't skate cupsoles.

Yes, the all black 1:30PM. No local skate shop stocked them, so I ordered from SHRN in Munich. They came this morning =)

Out of the box they skated well. Flip tricks took some adjusting because of the rubber toe area. The sole needs some scuffing up before it gets sticky. Insoles are THICC and HARD, here's two NB 440 V2 insoles vs the Village PM:

Without the thick insoles the shoes are on the thin side. I was worried drops would hurt my feet. Although, after a bunch of 180's and kickflips down stuff at the local indoor park, everything felt fine.

After the park I pushed around the city from spot to spot for 10 miles. Usually my big toe is squeezed against the edge of skate shoes causing chronic pain. The pain wasn't there today, I'm going to jump to conclusions, maybe it's just luck, but I feel like it has something to do with the unorthodox toe box

Three hours of skating total. Great shoes. The rubber climbers toe is detaching from the sole. Probably something glue will fix though

9/10 shoe. Sizing is similar to the Nyjah 3's with a bit wider forefoot and more big toe room. I'd really like to try a pair of the all black 1PM's. If someone could ask the Village PM Instagram if their also vegan, I'd be very grateful! I would, but SLAP is the only social media I use

thanks for detailed review! i want to give them a shot  more now. i'd hit them up but i'm not on social media either. i did see that the black/white 1pm were listed as microfiber so hopefully all black is too.

Not going to outdo Puffin’s review but I just had my first quick session in the Heretics and I actually love them. I replaced the stock insole (which is garbage) with one of the aftermarket G6  insoles. I know a lot of people on here are hating on the eggcrate construction but honestly I don’t think I’ve ever skated a cupsole with a proper midsole in my 30+ years of skating. And for the past 10+ years I’ve primarily been skating vulcs. My only other dabble in cups was the recent vegan 440. These heretics are like the better older brother of the 440. Very similar in terms of bulk & padding (i.e. minimal), but with a little more substance under the forefoot. Shape and fit are so much better than the 440s IMO. And the grip is great too, not missing anything there in terms of switching from vulcs. My only issue is that I feel vastly uncool wearing them. It’s not 2001 and I’m not a teenager. But that’s just something for me to accept and deal with.

so these were legit vegan? good. the homie had to return some silos that were listed as vegan (and still are on their website) but had the animal skin logo on tag when he got them. glad these are working out for you. we definitely don't have many options these days, especially for cupsoles

^this color way (black/tan) is legit. It had all the right symbols on the materials sticker, and had the Ed artwork hangtag on the top eyelet saying “no animals were used” or whatever

Those Heretics look good enough for me to snag a pair, but I just got four pairs of the Always x Adidas Pro Model, on top of all the shitty vulc shoes in the closet.

If IPATH pulls through with the next drop, and shops stock the synth colorways, I might switch to the Cats in either the mid or low, depending on the durability. I'm not a fan of the logo, but I could also see myself in a pair of Grasshoppers if the colorway is decent.

I rather not support Adidas, but [most of] their synth colorways make it to shops in decent amounts and you don't have to get up early to compete with sneakerheads for the chance to buy a pair of shoes.

@Scab Picker how are those Adidas? I thought they might be too shiny for my steeze. I have a pair of the first adv shelltoe they did and it's one of my fav shoes in the last 5 years tbh

I haven’t skated them but they’re decently padded unlike those Blondey ones. They also aren’t as shiny in person. The same material as the Superstar they did would have been preferable but I panic bought because of tariffs and impatience from waiting for the next IPATH drop.

I’m still on a pair of Doyenne Blazer Lows, but would rather skate the Pro Models. The synth (black/black/gold?) Superstar got me fiending for more synth Adidas with shell toes. They just last twice as long as Vans/LRAB, are more comfortable, and don’t give me foot pain as quickly.

Although I don’t need more shoes, I can’t resist vegan Cats, and I’m not going to stop myself.

Finally got around to skating my 440 v2s I bought er...last year.

I've been skating a lot more the past few months and found myself going through them pretty quickly (+ dragging my left foot filming has practically worn down the left shoe straight away).

It's a shame as they skate brilliant. I want the Cats and I'm not sure if they'll get re-stocked before I go away in a few weeks.

Might have to find a plan B.

This dropped yesterday

From some snooping around, it seems all the 1:30 PM shoes are synthetic. The second drop is coming shortly, and they've made an actual website instead of just a list of distributes. Hopefully the website will have which materials each model uses at a later date. It looks like we're getting a camo canvas 1 PM model

I'd rather it be all black and microfiber, but I'll bite. On my second pair currently of the 1:30 PM's and really enjoying them

I think they are, but the insoles and soles are thicker than any other vulc shoe I've skated, so it feels more like a thin cup.
