@rothdigga thanks as always!
Any non-440 models in the works?
(Sorry they fit me weird)
[close]

There's some testing going on for another model currently but nothing in production right now aside from this.
@rothdigga funnily enough, I have a feeling I know which model/ colourway you are talking about and let me just say right now if you drop those joints, I literally won’t wear any other shoe!!!

Was already convincing myself in the NB thread to order the new 440 colorway but then i remembered how i hate the shape of that shoe.
It just doesn't feel good for me.
Can't really explain what it is.

It's a shame there are so few vegan cupsole options.

I'll add:
Emerica - Mute (Olive/Black synth)
Es - Swift 2.0 (Gray/Light Gray synth)
Emerica - OG-1 (Light Gray/Navy/white synth)

Occasionally, Etnies does a synth Marana Michelin

Maybe some of those could work?

All of those are not really my kind of style.
Im not that much into big puffy shoes and they all seem pretty big.
Also getting Ipath is a pain in the ass here in Germany.
Guess the Marana would be the only one id wear, but Etnies is a no go for me.

I think my favourite shoe would be a CTAS with Cupsole or the 440v2 high but with a more rounded shape in the front.
The village pm mids dropping soon, but its another vulc....

In a similar boat... hard requirements are a low-top vegan cupsole. While I appreciate iPath offering options, their styling isn't for everyone. Nidecker group seems to offer the most variety but recent season stylings have been minimal and don't fit my liking.

I actually emailed Vans recently just to see if they offered a vegan style of any shoes currently using wafflecup (my research said no, but figured it was worth a shot), and confirmed they do not, credit to their customer service for responding so quickly, though. Adidas, Nike, Ascics... nothing (I don't count the Nyjah).

So we have the NB 440 v2, which is what I wear today, and honestly love. I'll be picking up the brown/black colorway soon. My only wish is that they offered a simple black version with white logo and black, white, or gum sole. @rothdigga mentions in the main NB thread that they've continuously offered the 480 in the NM480SBW colorway because it consistently sells. I'd love a synth version of that, or a synth version of NM440BNG. I'm but a simple person who prefers my shoes be black. I'd buy them in bulk and wear them for years. But I do appreciate @rothdigga for thinking of us while other bigger shoe companies aren't, and giving us an option. I'm curious what the other model is that you're currently working on a synth version for... please let it be a cupsole.  :)

(I've lurked this thread for years. Hello! Figured I'd finally chime in.)

Looks like these new kevlar eS' are probably vegan? They're not listed in the animal friendly collection (but I don't know how often they update that) but the materials say "Kevlar® / Synthetic / Mesh"

I just realised the village pm mid is a 1pm...
So no vegan model right now.
Sad.
Just ordered the eS Kevlar.
Would really loved a vegan high top but seems impossible right now if not a vulc.

so no vegan models in this village pm drop? Let us know how the eS fit, I’m guessing 1/2 size up but am curious …
For high tops you could go I-path grasshoppers or adidas x always Shellltoes.

The 1.30 is available in vegan. Just not the mid top sadly.
Grasshopper is too pricey right now cause i would have to import them since im in Germany.
I own the Adidas x Always. It's a love hate relationship. Sometimes they skate great, sometimes i hate them.
Will report back about the eS.

Three out of the four 1:30PMs on the Village PM website are vegan. The shiny black colorway is leather. They fit TTS

Got the Kevlar. Usually wear an 11 in most shoes but i ordered them in 11.5 cause of experience with owning a Two Nine 8.
Fits perfectly but i return them.
Much too puffy for me. They seem smaller in the product pictures but are actually comparable to the Two Nine 8.

Ordererd the purple canvas 1pm now and live with wearing vulcs til my feet break.

Yea they`re vulcs. But they have a pretty big flat insole so they feel more like a very thin cupsole for me.

Nine Jah‘s current Nike SB model is vegan.

Nyjah himself isn’t. Apparently he‘s on the MAGA diet, but credits veganism with the fact he has never broken a bone in his body.

They are currently not. You could order directly for $25 shipping, but you might get hit with a bunch of tariffs.

I wonder if any skate shops will order them or if they will only be available at places like SSENSE and CNCPTS.

I have a pair being delivered tomorrow from the Village PM site. Just moved back to America, so I’ll let y’all know how the tariffs go.

My understanding is the seller can choose to pay the fees or pass them along to the customer without any notice at the time of purchase. If the retailer passes the cost onto you, you’ll receive an email with a bill for the difference from the shipping service. The current regime is trying to hide the extra charges, so it’s all really confusing. So far I haven’t received any emails from DHL

IPATH vulc called the Taylor in waxed canvas

The Ace is apparently made of tennis ball felt, but the color would turn most people away. Also, wouldn’t the felt stick to griptape?
