I work the assembly line in a shoe factory. Mostly work that could be done just as well by other primates, but that, of course, would be cruel. The pace hardly leaves room to put two thoughts together, but today I was tasked with nail removal. Did some portraits of coworkers.

Thanks pals it was fun to do these. I changed station again so no art practice on the job anytime soon probably. Managed a last one today, Simon the Shoemaker.

Been drawing in the evenings & weekend mornings with my son. Truly a grand process. His confidence is soaring which is great. Art is the heart.

Second worst thing about the broken leg. I can't sit by my turntable and fuck around with my pens. Couch city throws everything off. These are fun tho. Frenchies are hard, they always look like some inbred predator.

i've been writing graffiti for soo long now. but never properly got into sketching beyond just ballpoint pen sketches in envelopes and stuff to test out a connection or character.

since i havnt been able to skate for 7 months now i started sketching properly like 2 months ago (cant paint every weekend). and slowly getting the hang of it. like you cant fix most mistakes and many colors wont cover over others with ink pens so you have to plan stuff out a lot more carefully. thats why i just prefered painting.
finally figured out how to do fades properly the other day.

When you're doodling and catch yourself pulling the pen to your blindside (covered by your hand), do you ever think of it as being backside?

Lmfao appreciate you and yeah, he is no longer.

Can't even finish a sandwich let alone a sketch. But his front right leg is in the wrong spot, it's hiding his dong in the og pic. That's just his paw he's sitting on.
Honestly never noticed lol bc the pic is just my phone background and the bottom part is hidden by my search bar.

Always loved his coat but not until this sketch did I realize there's an animal hidden in his pattern. Facing the opposite direction.

Anyways, thanks again for letting me talk about the best boy there ever was. That's what they'll say...

I did consider that it might be a paw but the shading on the other back paw kind of looked like maybe they were both there and the shaded part was the other paw sticking out just a little.

I don’t catch up with this thread as often as I should, but I just wanted to give a blanket “I love seeing art, thank you for sharing”.   Love your pooches, Benecio and always stoked on a new Eddy piece

I bring my guitar everyday. My nephew Jimbi has the ability to be an incredible vocalist. He’s already done punk rock karaoke at the Middle East few years ago. The baby loves all music and every time he hears a beat he starts dancing. I’m so lucky.
Music is the way.

thats some insane letter bending. i cant fit more than 4 letters on one piece of paper let alone 8. and thats already a squeeze.
wanna see you paint some. ive been hunting sale paint for a while now.. getting to a point where im overstocked. painting a lot tho. skating was definitly cheaper for me. but my ankle wont let me.

Thanks yall. Yeah. It usually take like 2 or 3 trips for me to rock a nice colour piece that doesn’t feel like manny madness. Unless I step to metal. Then I can rock with confidence and reach that place where I feel like I can do whatever I want. It’s kinda like skating on acid. It can just see it and everything just works.
Don’t gotta worry about the bottom of your piece. That’s the way. Also, I usually use Rustos.  I’m super out of practice with low pressure. I like the Rusto gold stick tips. They can put down long clean lines nice and fast. But when like half your colours clog and you gotta improvise something it’s like why do I do this anymore?

I’d like to just score like a box of silver beltons or og Montana hardcores and a few of those tar based covers all shit. I think it comes in colors now. Take a late night trip down the tracksides for a few miles just rock a a few large silvers in spots that are hard to get to unless you’re a local.

I am broker than I’ve ever been tho rn. I can’t even afford to buy bloards

dude. as a eurohead, low pressure cans are the worst. i cant use that shit. had to use those new beltons when i was in japan a while ago. theyre probably the worst cans ive ever used. pressure wise atleast.
like im sure they have a purpose, and some writers fuck with them. but for long crispy lines you definitly need some pressure in those cans.
hardcore's are fine, had those in tokyo. never see them back at home tho. allways go for the high pressure lines on any brand. but yeah those are still not like rusto's.

had some Motip for outlines last week. and for whatever reason no matter what cap the lines would only be as thick as my finger.. that fucked me up tho. skinniest outlines ive ever done.

haha, met u guy at a legal like 10 years ago who was a hardcore train writer, and he was like: damn, ive never had to think about the bottom of my letters before. this is hard.

Yeah it’s definitely easier to come off sick when your space is limited. Also just the fact that you’re surrounded by these giant pieces of machinery. And the sound and smell of the yard. Watching your overspray. I used to sleep in the lanes. I’d rock get high and take a nap. It was so chill. Then 911 happened and it started being more of a big deal getting seen. I haven’t stepped foot in the yard since like 2015
