are we sure he was a bum? tent looked legit
He must've taken notes from Tent City
since rents are super high in paris as far as i know
a lot of people have to sleep in tents, even though
they are not really "bums" but work a job or some
thing but simply can't afford a place to stay. other
than that, the city government gave away tents to
the homeless and a lot of them camp on the seine
promenades. on the vid: clint is a respectless kook
for behaving like that in a foreign country. i do not
really care for the "fight". as regarding the line he
was trying, i don't see the need to go past his tent
mmn no. Rents are high but the social safety net in France is very effective compared to most countries.
For example, if you're unemployed, the state gives you around 500 euros/month. For life. and rents are much cheaper in the suburbs. That homeless guy was white, young and native French. He's not a refugee, so I'd say it's possible his family has money and he chose to live on the street to "rebel". I might be wrong but we have quite a lot of those. What you'd call a "punk a chien" in French. One of my mates says he's seen this dude getting super-drunk around that neighborhood for years.
Edit: 500 euros is the bare minimum (RSA), if you worked before you get unemployment money, which starts as your full salary.
