And if you did, how do you like the added height? I’ve been sort of contemplating doing this on one of my setups.[close]Just add a small riser. I honestly do not understand why anyone would buy the standard version. Get forged. Lighter. Stronger baseplate. Plus, you have the option of a 53mm truck, or just adding a small riser to get 55mm of the standard if you wanted to go taller.

Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.
All you got is today, get out and skate.
Regular 149 Indy's with after market red orange 90a conical Indy bushings.
As I said in the other post, standard 149s with the blue 94 bushings. I might need to go up to the black ones though because I still get wheelbite like a mother on 54 SPFs.

I didn't see when the guy at the shop put them in I guess. So the black ones should definitely help with wheelbite then! Or harder? I'm 225 on a good day, thanks for the advice.

At least when you're a washed-out hipster douchebag in NY, you can milk it at some decent looking, hard to skate spots. In LA you're just a tan-lined faggot in a school yard somewhere.

They're hard to break in but get better and better as you skate them.
