Got them for $40 basically new, a lot stiffer and harder than I was expecting. Didn't think the flat tongue would affect the comfort but I totally get it would be an issue. They look great but feel a too clunky to skate in. I'll stick with the more skate specific shoes for wheelie planking.

I just blank searched in decks with prime eligible and low to high and it was there on the first page marked from 55. I find shit like this pretty often.

It was 75% off and I needed a black zip up to wear under lighter jackets? way more about cost and function than being cool.

not possessed but volcom stoned
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Volcom chinos have honestly been the best pants I've ever skated, can't speak for any of their upper body stuff.

For real. And they're cheap at Nordstrom Rack. I have 6-7 black pairs as my daily wear.

I think Danny D. rides Independent 215 trucks on a 9.5 $lave warpigs shape and I also believe that is the same size and shape as his pro model deck. Therefore, I feel it is necessary to purchase said trucks to complete the "Danny Dicola Ditch Demon" as I have coined it. I have never in my 20+ years of skateboarding thought about purchasing such large trucks, but now that I am in the market it seems they are no longer available anywhere!

I just got some of the low profile Footprint insoles, and despite them being the appropriate size they seem to have a tough time sitting flat in my shoe. I dunno if it's just a coincidence but after the first session my back really hurts which has not been the case for recent sessions otherwise.

i don't think many people are doing 10" trucks on a 9.5" board but i guess the really wide wheels will make it work. good luck

What’s the wheelbase in the slave 9.5 war pig/DD pro model? Can’t find em anywhere online in stock w info.
14.5 for both? Just searched and that’s what I found in the 9” + thread.

Hyped that the Independent 215 trucks will be available again soon... Thanks for the info! At the start of the "Evolution Of My Ride" video, Danny explains that the Independent 215 trucks are perfect for the 9.5, but that he needs to cut them down for another board that he rides. I definitely used said video as a reference when planning the assembly of the "Danny Dicola Ditch Demon". I just pulled out the deck and it does in fact have a 14.5" wheelbase for anyone who was wondering...

i don't know why he's saying that? in the clip he has the 9.5" board set up with 169's and 54ishmm wheels.

the 215's he cuts down go on what looks like an 8.5" Slave Rat Racer with a War Pig heat transfer.

edit. looks like there was a smaller 8.5" War Piglet way back when.

That 9.5” with 169 is is probably perfect with the rear taper.

Wonder if it’s just the way the video is cut / edited. Or could’ve just done it for the clip

Yeah, the trucks on the bigger warpig don't really look like 215s in that shot with both of the set-ups, so I am a bit confused myself. However, I don't know if you saw the "Drain Scouting With Danny Dicola" feature that Monster Children recently put out, but he is definitely skating 215s on his ditch board...

Good share that was fun. Surfy as hell with those 215. The back 3 was killer too.
