I’d prefer if he just reffed every game to keep things consistent.

This may be a hot take, but I like Berra. Yeah he’s a dork, and an asshat, but he reminds me of like a friend’s dad who is trying to bridge the gap between staying cool (when he never was) and being the authority figure. Like he’ll say he’s gonna put on something heavy and play Dave Matthews.

My only exposure to both of these guys was the original game, I don't follow either of them and have no idea who they are. That being said, Sean Davis acted like an insufferable, petulant child in Game 1, and I think he must have seen the comments and watched the tape because he was much more mature and laid back in Game 2. Kudos to him for that.

That is not what I was telling, but in fact I am willing to go on the record as saying I would not wear Cariuma’s if I got them for free, even for skating. Now, if they made wide toed cupsoles designed to mitigate an adult man’s back issues that pop up with vulc shoes, I might not request additional bribery in addition to the free shoes and give them a go.

My ability to purchase footwear exceeds my ability to destroy them these days.

I know Shaun personally and they sent him shoes way back, right before they flooded the skate market with their ads and other notable skaters shilling for them everywhere. I don't know if it's sponsorship or just a hookup to gauge future potential.

Before this, the shop he rides for, Exodus Ride Shop in MI, would send him Nike Janoski models and the occasional GT Blazer.


Also, I've skated with Shaun and he doesn't skate super slow. Occasionally, maybe. Dudes like 6'4 so I'm sure the lankiness doesn't help there. Berrics ground is slippery AF, plus Davis was going much faster so it looked like he was going slow by comparison. Same thing in the Luan and Asta game because Luan skates fast as well.
