That was a great game for once. I love to see that it's still possible for skating to progress even on flat and most of the absurder tricks didn't even look too gross.

Spencer definitely has some strong socal kook vibes to him but he's undeniably good. I watched a few of his videos a couple years back when he was doing the world record ollie contest thing and I remember thinking he should just focus on his skating because his "personality" doesn't stand out but popping your shit chest high definitely does.

Always respect the guys who come out swinging like that too. He knew he was overmatched and just started kitchen sinking some tricks I legit don't know if I've ever seen before. I think unorthodox was the word that came to mind haha. Seemed like Griffin was playing with his food a little going for that weird Casper thing and almost got caught. Stop fucking around and do your 360 impossible shit, save the Koston tricks until you play him.

Needs to be given a shot by a legit (or at least semi-legit) board company IMO. I like how he took the time to try and explain a couple of his tricks to Spencer. Good sportsmanship by the both of them.

Regardless of all possible presentation concerns, I can see the skate rat in Jamie and always liked that.

I watched that game, wasn't too familiar with Spencer Barton before at all, but I appreciated his attitude here. Seems like a honest skater to me and not just technically.

Agreed! It did start a little slow for me but once they get into it, shit was good.  I always enjoy watching new kids especially when they got good attitudes and giving each other props

To be fair the rule states "IF your opponent wraps their impossibles you must wrap your impossibles" so IMO this covers it, and I haven't seen any impossible bullshit since this rule change.

Although I do hate the fact that this creates two "types" of impossibles, it's good enough for me in the context of a game of skate.

So IMO in this game specifically I'm fine with a Unwrappossible on offense being defended by another Unwrappossible.

This conundrum only makes me wonder how and when unwrappossibles became accepted enough anyway that this had to become an issue down the road.

Spencer knew his impossible was shit.
