I remember there was a rumor a little while back on here that they were making a numeric version of the 480. Tiago even has clips in them.

Spencer Hamilton has skated them as well. It's a great Dunk alternative

I've not kept up to speed with NM808 chat, but if these are what's coming then I'm not digging them.

https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:kcMVpUKbxskJ:https://www.boardertown.co.nz/cn/nb-numeric-808-x-tiago-lemos-nb-nm808wrb-white-navy+&cd=16&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

That's not the best colorway. I have seen them in person in other colorways and and they are a nice shoe in person. They feel really good on foot. Also look great when looking down.

I've been skating some Foy's latly. Seriously good shoe. I'm never gonne skate Nike again.
Love how the foxing tape isent that tall, so you get more of a cupsole flick, and the suede holds up ALOT better then any Nike. The only con, which is not really a con, is that my foot is rather narrow, and these are slightly wide.

I tried on the Tiago's in store aswell, the white/green. Def got some heelslip.
Those 808's look narrower, which would be nice for me :D

Haven't been keeping up with this thread. With the coming of the 808, is the 1010 getting discontinued?

1010 will still be getting made. Tiago will have 2 shoes in the catalog

They are really sick! To me it’s a better/mor cohesive design than the 1010s. I always thought the vamp looked a bit too long and I’m not a big fan of the midsole design on the 1010.
These 808s look really balanced to me silhouette wise with the shorter toebox, and I love the lil toelip that gives it a sporty look. I also dig the front lace loops, will look cool highlighted in future colorways.

My only gripe with the 808 is the section of Navy blue right by the ollie spot where the angle cuts back toward the front of the shoe. I could see that thing becoming a grip catcher dingleberry.

I could see these being popular as a “I won’t wear a kalis / DC” crowd looks for a kalis DC shoe as there is a resurgence.

This next 18-24 months we will see a serious run on this type of silhouette.

Personally I couldn’t do it but it’s already happening.

feeling the same way about this shoe. plus this colorway specifically made me think "out of the corner of my eye i'd say this was a DC shoe"

The 1010 shoe, from above, in the ‘beef and broccoli’ cw, reminds me of sal 23s. The vamp on the 1010 does look too long, and the sizing isn’t quite right for me (heel slip), and the sole does wear down before the upper…but the comfort, and value on the 1010 is top tier.
The only other shoe I’ve tried that is fucking with the 1010 is the Tyshawn, which again has awesome materials imo, specifically in the arch midsole. I hope the lows are tts…
The 808s look real nice

That 808 looks really nice. Hoping they fit me a little better than the 1010’s do. A lot of really cool colourways are possible with all those panels and details. I’d love them in mostly white with a gum outsole.

The only thing I’m concerned about is the midsole on those. If that Abzorb midsole runs the length of the shoe and is similar to the Fuelcell midsole of the 1010 then I’ll be sold. I need it to prevent back pain while skating

I’m curious to hear more about the tech in these as well. 1010s have done good things for my feet, body, and skating, and I am hoping these will be as good

just ordered some 868s. I love a good cup sole. The last NB# I had were the updated PJ Ladd's.

How are the 868s compared with the PJ Ladd's?

Foys are great.  I just skated through three pairs in a row.  If i could find em on sale would stock up and skate them exclusively.  Great durability (on the vulc scale), boardfeel and flick.

440 Hi gang.

Those things remind me of the original Nike McEnroe shoe, the Challenge Courts. Way better than Nike SB’s attempt at a re-release.

I hope they never leave the rotation.

No plans for the 440 to leave the lineup.  That's the shoe I skate so I'll work from the inside to keep that bad boy around as long as I can.  I don't like to change my gear once I find a shoe that I like.

seconding this, and i won't hear any "well there is a 1010 colorway that looks like that, so just get that" arguments
