I was fucking bouncing up and down on my bed.


Today my cousin got a full ride scholarship to Pepperdine. Everyone in my family is fucking crying Ive never seen use all so happy. My grandpa, mema, uncle, dad, other uncle, mom, aunt, other aunt, and my cousins are all crying. Plus they were going to ASU over the break because she has a full ride offer there too, but now they're not going and my cousin gets to come over.

we're allowed to skate at my school during lunch, and i saw my friend trying a switch fs flip, which i had tried a couple weeks ago for what felt like hours and only landed on a few, never staying on. i tried two and got the perfect flip, landed on the third, then said jokingly to my friend "watch this switch fs flip" and then landed one. super crusty but i kept with it and landed at least four more during lunch. so stoked. it's weird how you can practice for hours on a trick, but if it's not your time to learn the trick, you won't. i sort of look at things that way, because that's happened to me on more than one occasion.
