I met Brandon Biebel at this 3 block in Sacramento, he switch bigflips it in his yeah right part i believe. we were skating it and i landed a kickflip, he siad it was a cool kickflip, it wasnt really the biggest thing i think he was just being nice. He was super cool though, me and my friends used to know this dude who was kinda in with a lot of sacramento heads til he moved way to philly or something like that for college.
So you knew a dude that knew other dudes?

It sounds silly when you put it like that but yeah haha, i met appollo cutts through that guy all those years ago too (2004 or 2005ish, i remember thats life had just came out) but yeah we got to go skate spots with a few pros thanks to ol Denskee (his real name was dennis but thats what we called him) stefan janoski judd hertzler omar salazar and a couple others, the day he had to hop on the plane to philly i remember he pocket checked some fat goth kid walking by the skatepark (with a skateboard in hand for some reason), and when he showed him he had no munny, he snapped the kids deck then left home to pack. him and my other friend used to keep me laughing all day with their hi jinx, those dudes knew how to have a good time

I remember my first demo was the Deathwish tour back in 2008 and I had no idea who Jim Greco was and I saw him trying a Nollie Bs flip down this gap and I remember thinking to myself "Why is there  a horribly dressed tranny skating?" Then after the demo my friends and I went to Hooters and the whole team showed up. I was just stoked to be looking at the same Hooters sluts as them. Also someone put Antwaun's trucks on the wrong side or something and him flipping the fuck out.

Met Kalis years ago when Love was alright to skate, pre-renovation days.
Was at Love for Wenning's sw back 180 down the fountain gap
BBQ'd st Getz's house and crashed on his couch. Ran him and a bunch of the Noc dudes for about $80 and a pair of DVS in cee-lo on his pool table

Met Chris Cole and he was at some local contest and skated a few sections but did not really enter the contest.

After a few tricks he sat right next to me and watched the contest. He seemed a mellow dude but I could not really talk to him since I freaked out on the inside...like, fuck, it is Chris Cole....he probadly thought I was mentally regular in the brief moment we 'met'.

Such cases.

Just being around skateboarding in the right places, you meet lots of relevant dudes, but most memorably I smoked a blunt with Bryan Herman behind the vert ramp at SPoT.
example. i cant cast a spelll or love potion on a girl and she falls total in love for me
but i can show a girl my tv youtube clip on my or her phone. but there's a difference ok

It would have been more interesting if they were shiitake mushrooms.  Why did you have shiitake mushrooms to sell and why did skaters want to buy them off you?  Possibly you work at grocery store in Long Beach and they wanted to top a steak with some delicious fungus covered in salt and butter.

You're right.  I got my non-psychedelic mushrooms mixed up.  Shiitake sounds cooler though (obviously).

I was in the presence of Lucas Puig a few months ago in my local shop when cliche were on tour. Just kinda stood there really nervously as he chose out some adidas. He's so fucking cool.
Saw Flo Mirtain too, skates insane in real life, came off as a bit of a dick though.
Joey Brezenski was funny.
skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

Listed from the nicest to the not so kind.

Rick Howard
- all about conversation
Brian Anderson - Really good at putting up with tons of kids in the shop asking him to come hang out and buy them beer.
Mike Carroll- intimidating sure but all compliments and jokes
Pops - I was hanging out with some friends after the DQM earlier this summer outside of a deli in the Lower East where they give you a lolli-pop with each sandwich. Pops was in there getting some food and when he walked out was super cool, chilled and shot the shit for a minute and then gave my homie his dum-dum because he "doesn't like the root beer flavor.
Raven Tershy - Creepily complimented my shirt from behind when I didn't know he was standing behind me. But then had a 5 minute conversation about how his filming for the Chocolate video is coming.
Lizard King - Seemed hyped to acknowledge all of his teen stoner fans.
Erik Ellington - Gave some kid a pack of about a hundred fucking stickers as props for the shirt he had on. Then told him not to share them with anyone because they were special and only meant for the owner of that shirt. Obvious joke but the kid was like 11 and almost cried from joy.
Steve Olson - Nicer than he seems and laughed when some kid asked if he was related to Alex
Quim Cardona - Should be higher up on this list. Dude is all smiles and once you get him going he won't stop.
Billy Rohan - Kind of a douch but he gives a lot to the kids and shit so it  makes up for it I guess.
Reynolds - Went in to a signing through the back door. Then wouldn't take a break from his slice of pizza to sign some kids board.
Shane Heyl - Only dude I have ever met who I literally just wanted to staple his mouth shut, tie a cinder block to his feet and toss him in the middle of the Mississippi river.

Nate Jones was the first pro I met, I remember him giving me a Spitfire sticker. Super nice guy.

Met a shit load when I was younger when I use to go to demos a fair bit. Everyone was cool, in particular Danny Supa, Rick Howard, Herman, Salabanzi, Glifberg all come to mind as really friendly encounters.

Recently - Trapasso & Jose were both super friendly and talkative.
