Shop finally got an adidas account, had to grab a pair of Nora’s. Definitely too thin for me to skate. But I love how similar they are to the OG Puig. That shoe was a definite favorite.

Not trying to make a mockery of this thread, but since I’m stocked on Blazers, I have to share my other key pickups.  Grabbed these off the shelf as a joke, not my style whatsoever, but they were so cheap and so comfy I had to cop.  Walmart Force 1s.

These Lynx are the best $12 I ever spent.

The fact they match the top ply is just a bonus

I coped the $12 pair too (well 2 of them), they look rad on you but I just can't stand the way they look on me, the fuck am I doing wrong here?

Those Wal Mart Forces go hard, I'd run 'em.

Uline pallet post-it's straight from my account manager, I love it when she brings those.

I had a suspicion that may have been a Huffer but didn't want to assume, but I may have to rethink my board situation and add one to the quiver.

has anyone skated in the Adidas Alohas?  comfy?  wide-ish?  comparable to ________ (i.e., Adidas Puig)?

I currently do. The shoe is super comfy, and i can fit my wide feet into them no problem. When first putting them on it feels like they are missing structural integrity but that is the part which makes them extremely comfy and non-comparable to other adidas models. I think you should go for it, in my opinion the best skate straight out the box shoe i ever had.

Same here. From the start of the year I've skated three pairs. Can't see myself skating anything else. I'm really picky when it comes to shoes.

That description is pretty spot on. I find most shoes too narrow; the Alohas are the comfiest shoes I've had in a long time. You're right, you can't really compare them to any other Adidas model, I'll try though: they're like a wider, flatter, lighter Busenitz.

I haven't skated a cupsole since the Busenitz first came out. I thought I could only do vulcs until I tried the Alohas. The cupsole is super flexible and light. I love the broken in feel. Despite this, they are so damn durable. To test my first pair I skated almost everyday in them. They held up for 3 months and could've kept going. The only thing I can suggest is getting the colourways with the leather collar lining. For me they fit better and will not rip from heelflip tricks. Give them a shot.

How do you like them? I would try these in a different colorway. White with some tiny green details or something like that.

They’re surprisingly pretty solid for a cupsole without foam in the midsole. I was almost expecting it to feel like one of lakais cupsole shoes but actually pretty comfy on foot. Rubber toecap is going to be indestructible. I usually tend to bust through the toe of any shoe I wear first and after about an hour of skating there’s no real signs of wear on the shoe, besides the laces, but they do come with lace protectors that I forgot to loop them through. Definitely would have liked a green accent on the shoe forsure.

That's what I was thinking about the midsole. More like a Lakai Atlantic instead of a Etnies Joslin. But I think that’s fine, I won't huck huge gaps. Thanks for the answer.
