Comrade Nigel?
« on: May 04, 2024, 07:23:38 AM »

I don't think that Nigel actually supports Russia, probably is more of a "I found this cool looking logo on the internet".
Not that my respect for the dude can be anything else than non existent but sure it can be seen as a way of propaganda in a subject that for a lot of people is very sensible to say at least.

Slice up an avocado, pat the cut sides in garlic powder and a little salt. Sear in a pan and add on top of whatever appropriate dish you’re making. Makes a nice crust, and adds a little bitterness in a good way.

My brother in Christ that sounds fucking disgusting. Like where do I start: Cooking Avocado?!? Searing garlic?!?! Garlic POWDER !!?!?! Good Heavens... Next you'll tell us to put cucumber on a barbeque (actually legit amazing if marinated in a soy based sauce and done just right)

avocado can surprise you. i had an african recipe calendar from oxfam with a recipe for avocado cream, it was delish.
First, halve the avo and remove the pit, scoop out the fruit and set aside the skins.
Mash avo in a bowl, adding coacoa powder, sugar, and a little lemon juice.
Return mixture to avo skins, chill in fridge for 45mins-1h

yah, but chilled avo is very different from disgusting ass hot avocado. ain’t no way i’m “searing” garlic powder and eating that on warm mushy avocado. what appropriate dish calls for this madness?

The Ukrainian Air Force operate the Mig-29 (the aircraft featured on the tee) among other Russian aircraft.

It's a Mikoyan t-shirt, not a pro invasion of Ukraine t-shirt.

Though I don't think Jah would no the difference between a Mig-29 Fulcrum and F-15 Eagle. From watching his youtbe channel when he used to post up send it Saturdays (a guilty pleasure), he does know a thing or two about vodka.

Hot ‘cado seems odd, sure, but how about avocados for dessert?
Try this.
Get yourself one of those pre-fab graham pie crusts & par bake that bad boy for a lickle bit to crisp it up.
Next, crack a large can of sweetened condensed milk into a bowl along with the meats of one large avocado & the juice of a lime or two.
Blend/whip that shit up with a hand mixer & spoon it into you crispy’d crust.
Set that thing in the ‘fridge until the green stuff has firmed up & then top it with some freshly whipped creams (you’ve already got a bowl & a hand mixer out, so why not?)
Swamp rat: super good!
Also super easy to whip up & a great summer time treat.
I also enjoy avocado ice cream, (while we’re on the subject of avocado for dessert) and frankly, you should too.
Did you know that before farmers had worked out their marketing angle to sell avocados to the American market, avocados were known as Alligator Pears.
True story; look it up.

You karens never tried tempura avocado at  a sushi restaurant? Avo on a grilled cheese or breakfast sandwich? Hot avo > cold avo. Anything over cold, grey oxidized avocado whipped into a pre fab graham cracker crust.

S’what I thought until I tried it.
The acid in the citrus prevents oxidization & it retains a delightful green hue.
