Friend who works closely with adidas snapchatted this to me, looks like a busenitz sample with a dunk elite type sock liner.
as someone who almost exclusively skates busenitz pros, i dont like this.
I have 3 pairs of boost version but have never skated the og. What’s the closest comparison you got? I’ve really wanted to try a pair out lately.
The busenitz boost chillers? I got the primeknit ones yesterday, haven't skated a busenitz pro og for a while but besides the raised heel and overall appearance, there's not too much they have in common as the sole is so different. I guess fit is somewhat similar. Great shoes to skate though so unless you really hate the raised heel I think you'll like them.
I should’ve been more clear I was looking for comparisons to other Popular shoes not the boosts. Prime knit ones are amazing though. Just be sure to wear socks as there’s a plastic piece at the start of the laces that will give you hella blisters. Which color did you get? I’ve been really hyped on that shoe lately. Also just be aware that boost stuff is insanely comfortable. I’ve been wearing those day to day along with some slip on pros and the difference when you step into a vans shoe is immediately noticeable.you feel every step.
Thanks man, I got the all black ones with the white sole brand new without the box for $65 on ebay. The sole is ridiculously soft, super nice. The collar on the right shoe digs into my ankle a little but will probably break in soon.
As far as other popular shoes, I really can't think of a shoe that truly compares with the busenitz og. If you've skated shoes that have a raised heel(project BA, huf gillette, some various cupsoles etc), that aspect of it will be familiar, but that's the only really distinct aspect about the shoe in terms of functionality. If you've skated any of the other busenitz models, I believe the geo fit collar is similar. As far as flick and grip etc goes, it's all really good, toe is quite pointy and slim, comparable to most vulcs and thin cupsoles. So unless you really struggle to get used to skating with a slightly raised heel, I don't think the shoe will be a problem overall.
