What was the last video game you played?

been playing Minecraft a shit ton recently, not sure why but it's great to work with a group on projects etc. I think it's cool to see the different aspects/benefits people can bring to a server.

if anyone's still playing and is on 1.14.4 here's something neat I realised lastnight: set up an afk fish farm, keep all the ench bows/rods and you can put them in a grind stone to unenchant and get all the XP. 8 hours of afk fishing yielded 2 full invs which got me from 62-68 which is about the same as 0-43.

Motocross Madness 2, after all these years its still the best moto game out there. Also been playing a lot of GT sport lately.

Far Cry 5. I actually picked up New Dawn prior to getting 5 because it was on sale and more recent. But as I got deeper into that I wanted to learn the backstory for all the references in New Dawn, from 5, so I bit the bullet and am slowly chipping away at that. Both games are super fun though.

I only just got a PS4 over the summer after not having any game system since an Xbox 360 in high school, and even then all I ever played was the original Skate.

Kind of blown away by video games now; graphics, stories, all of it. Better late than never I suppose.

If you haven't tried it, the f1 racing is fucking nuts on tight tracks man. Shifting like crazy constantly slowing down attempting to beat lap times against the ai was fun times

i downloaded magic the gathering arena on my computer, it runs really well and feels like hearthstone as far as the user interface. if any of you are down with mtg i think you would enjoy this, free to play/start, and if you play enough youll be unlocking cards for free anyways.

I usually go Nissan Skyline, Toyo Supra, or Benz AMG Touring Car.  They all handle way differently.  And yeah, I stumbled upon the drift thing by accident one day, overpowering the turns.

  I was bored with the game and started fucking with the settings one day.  TC turned off, ABS on, man trans.  Trying to drive the same way, with those settings, the car was sliding all over the place, but it was fun and challenging trying to keep it on the road, especially Fujimo with all the turns. 

All of a sudden out of the blue, there it was, the "drift meter" popped up and  I was like  "oh shit, it's an actual thing in this game". They built a meter and everything" all giddy and shit.

 So that re-ignited the flame.  I'm actually getting pretty good at it, downshifting and using the E brake and and figuring out the timing and peddling through the longer turns to keep from spinning out.  NOW the challenge is to actually WIN the race, while drifting.

Micro Mages in 2 player co-op. A very fun and responsive game. Most impressive use of the 8-bit tech, albeit at the cost of the game length.

I just hooked up my old PlayStation to a TV again and I've started replay Final Fantasy VII from the beginning.

It's been so long since I beat it - I had the guide and the GameShark and fought/beat Emerald and Ruby Weapon, all of that. I'm remembering everything as I replay it, like the hidden Megaphone in the Shinra building. It's kind of all I want to do with my life right now.

I struggled with the Ruin Sentinels for a while, too. Use the NPC summon sign in the cell before the boss area so the metal guys get distracted. Stay on the platform, kill the first of the three there and then the other two one by one on the ground. A good shield and lighting buffed weapons help tremendously.

Dark Souls 2 is the weakest entry of them all.

Been playing Dark Souls 3 again. Would like to get the Outer Worlds immediately on the 25th but probably won't.

Ok, got my physical copy because I'm a person, but the even bigger person in the fucking store managed to break the case, whatever got a spare one. They had stacks with new CODs and a fuckton of people buying them. Kind of funny mix: bros and geeks, all waiting in the same line.

Anyway, the game is pretty fun, some funny parts, kind of fetch-questy and a couple of hours in, I don't think my choices will affect anything. Combat is pretty good, it works. The planet I'm on now is cool.

Have a wii now so im finally playing New Super Mario Bros Wii and it is pretty damn good. Never played it but so far its a perfect mix of the older ones i feel and it plays great. I only have the wii remote though and it sucks after a while playing it sideways. Hands just cramp up.

I found a Wii for only $10 at Goodwill a few months back, I modded it right away and loaded it up with a ton of games.

New Super Mario Bros is great but I wish they'd let you play with the classic controller.
