I'm riding this with indy stage 7's, 54mm formula fours and hardluck six ball bearings. It's probably one of my favorite boards I have ever had, super sick shape, great feeling and full width.

I've been riding lots of these shapes. I think it all started when I got that gonz rising sun krooked board last year, then followed it up with that yellow cardiel horseshoe board and now I'm on this. That being said I jumped on my friends 8.1 the other day and did a perfect front side flip first try then a few days later I did the same thing on the same friends board. I don't think I had a board that small since middle school but I may have to try it

Yep, I had it as a wall hanger for a long time. Hopps deserves more love, everything Jahmal does is great.
Indeed, would love to skate more Hopps boards but they’re too damn hard to find where I live...

What do you think of those wheels? I heard a lot of good things so tried the 101 naturals and they were just too hard and slippery for me. Almost sounded like ping-pong balls. I never tried them on smooth surfaces though, might try them again when it warms up.

I have 99a f4's on my other board and don't really like them. I don't know about sounding like ping pong balls but hard and slippery is accurate and that's what I enjoy about them. Try them out in a smooth skatepark and you can roll forever. but Yeah, you can slip out of tricks if you're not use to them.

Yeah it was in the negatives when I tried them so that might have made them too slippery.

Is habitat bbs? There was no laser ps stix on this deck. Do they still make Indy 149 low? Never knew they made low in 149 that sounds ideal.
The Habitat boards I've seen in the past year were p stix.
But they may use generator sometimes too.
Pretty sure they never made 149 lows.

I scoured the nhs site, asked my rep and it appears they no longer manufacture the low trucks in any size, and when they did, apparently only made in 129 and 139.
Could they have made some at the inception of their low trucks?
Possibly.
The low indy's came stock with red bushings, and the kingpin literally sticks up above the hanger.
(ps)Ok since the shop is so damn slow we decided to compare the difference between a low indy and a standard forged hollow. The Yoke/kingpin hole/loop is way tighter on the low. So much so that it has no clearance around the bushing vs the standard one. Yours looks more like a standard to me.

I did the NHS tour a month ago and the guide told me they are currently re-designing the lows. And because of tweaks they have already made on the stage XI, there is no current plan for a stage XII.

That’s good to hear b/c those old lows fucking sucked, I don’t even know why I bought them in first place but I hated them no matter what bushings I was rocking.

They have a guided tour of their NHS museum they built in the last few years. It’s amazing and free, you just have to e-mail or call them to set up an appointment I believe 2 weeks in advance.

Huh, I guess there is still a market for lows?

@48.5mm you'd need to rock some tiny ass wheels to avoid wheelbite; hell they're only .5mm away from the old thunder 149 height.

That sounds so exciting!!

Ahhhhh I can’t wait to see them both and give them my money!!

I hope the new lows are thunder team 147 hi height I.e. 50mm

I wonder what they could of tweaked on the standard stg 11? They seem solid the way they are...what could they have done besides shave some weight and make them par with they’re nemesis ACE?

So excited to see what is the stage 11.5

There isn’t a stage 11.5 the tweaks have already been made, you’ve probably skated both versions and didn’t notice any difference cause you’re fuckin nuts.
