Loveseat riders, what does it measure over front and rear axle?
Wondering if 8.5 trucks work or if 8.75 would be better.
Nose is 8.75 and tail is 8.5 if I measured right. Looking through the setup thread, looks like most slappers are hovering between the 8.5-8.75. 8.75 is probably gonna be more stable while the 8.5 will most likely flip a bit faster/easier.
I'm currently on AF1 66s (9.0) with the loveseat and it's awesome, but the hanger doesn't fit well on the curbs I've been skating so I'm actually gonna size down to AF1 55s (8.5)
Get the 60s if possible. I have em on my Couch and they fit great with wider wheels and have two washers inside. Thinking of getting the Loveseat next and they should pair perfectly with 60s.
I also sized down to 55s bc I don't have any trucks under 9.0 and I really wanna try the G096 next (if the loveseat ever breaks...it's wildly strong)
I like my board light so I run titanium Indy 159’s on one set up and Ace 55’s on the other. Titanium 169’s on the couch.
Might give Indy Stage 4 166’s a try and see how that feels.
ti indys….so i’ve never been able to commit to (any truck) indys, mainly due to the weight. and then it was easy for me to not like indy when they were whatever after dlx, and not always as nice to the shops i enjoyed.
but. they are inarguably a great truck, and are possibly the most balanced option. they also work well with both large and small wheels, and that is rad.
i’ve said it before, but i make my whole slap account in an attempt to contact someone that was selling some ti indys on the classifieds page.
is the pop better than the ace 55s?
i had hollow 169s, and those weren’t amazing for me, but that’s just because i’m a wimp that can’t flick nollieflips, and 169s are big.
