I have the deathlens pro and it worked fine with my old setup. I was using the dreamgrip frame to mount the lens, and didn't have any problems other than some slight vignetting.
With the iphone 15, since the lenses stick out a lot more, it put the iphone at an angle in the dreamgrip and made it impossible to line up the lens. They haven't posted on social media in a few years, so it seems like they're a zombie company at this point, and i don't think they're gonna offer an update for newer phones. I found this other frame from Smallrig that looked pretty good, so I got that instead.
Feels like a great solution so far. The handles are quick release, and you can mount one on the top side for a more VX style position. One of them also has a remote button.
When I put the old deathlens on, i can feel it bottom out against the phone lens before its all the way threaded on, and like I said, the image is really blurry on the edges of the image
I hit up deathlens and did get a response, but they weren't helpful. They "don't know what a Smallrig is", and told me that i need to use their phone case only to properly mount the lens. Didn't really answer any of my questions.
*Update: i just checked, and the regular fisheye is back in stock, so I'm gonna order that and report back
