Og classic 52s which I am loving the feel and the shape them.

Primitive p 8.38 deck in yellow. Didn't realize primitive does different wood for pp decks. Might just be a wall hanger and I'm not even mad.

Ordered some 52 f4 conical full 99a that I'm stoked to try. It'll be my first f4 set. I've always rode bones for some reason but those og classics got me on a spitfire vibe.

Which ones are their pp decks?
[close]

The plain script and the plain dirty p. Also kinda obvious but usually the cheaper decks, 40-45 $.

All graphic boards are sold at $60, even price point ones from dwindle or girl or DLX. Sticking to pro boards would be the safest bet

Just got these, getting the black ones too soon. Hyped to skate em

How's the fit?

I like the look but the berle/crockett/tnts are too long, whereas the AVEs are just fine (size 10).

Recently got my 7.8 blank from skatewarehouse. I'm almost positive it's s-shape from clutch.

I usually wear a 10.5 in most shoes, before these I had Half Cabs in 10.5 and they fit similar to that. Really comfy so far, right in that happy medium where it's snug so I feel secure skating but not too tight where I my toes feel compressed. Also it has elastic tongue straps, usually shoes with those fit my alot better

I honestly don't get why NHS/Idny doesn't use the 215 hanger mold for the rest of the line, look how svelte that hanger is in the yoke area?

Tried a pair on today but they only came in 1/2 a size too small for me and the toe box was really tight.

Darkstar 8.0: Smaller than I would like but at $25 I thought why not, the graphics are shit and I'm not a Harley fan but dammit my first board was a Darkstar and I'm getting it! Should be fine for a smaller technical ride with Low trucks.
eS Square 3: I'm a goddamn sucker for the Accel but they are too puffy for this day and age. The Accel Slim is slightly better but I'm not a fan of cupsoles, board feel > feet protection. They feel like a slimmer Accel Slim with a Vulc some with a wide enough toebox to fit my Sasquatch feet.

Had a Darkstar as my first board getting back into skating because I was always a fan of Chet Thomas(those hard flips and frontside flips) and I've never had any issues with them other than the graphics. I'll try out other brands, but I'll always swing back around and skate them from time to time.  Their 8s are my favorite

I picked up one of those Mike Anderson shapes for Krooked recently. From what I can tell it's basically more squared with a bigger nose and tail. I typically like it when other companies do boards like that and I like Krooked, so I'm hoping this is a match made in heaven.

Have one of these too. The 8.38x32x14.25 WB. Going to set it up this week. Looks like it'll be great to skate.

Got my tax return so it’s time to splurge a little.

Picked up a Seasons shop tee, money goes to the Australian fire relief.

Ordered the new Push Mag., Interstate Mag. issue 2, a Theories T, Legends Never Die vol. 2 and a water bottle.

Ordered pair of Vans pants, would have bought at my local but they didn’t have my size.

Rowans
8.125" Silvas
8" Tensor Mags
Sheet of 'blank' grizzly feels straight up like black magic (good thing)

On the Rowans:

I bit because they reminded me of the TNT SGs (I was not mistaken). Fit is true to size, not the bigger fit of the more recent shit (Berle/Crockett/TNTs); they feel the same fit-wise as my AVEs. Insole is much like the UltraCush, fat heel, slime footbed, haven't skated them but have zero expectations for less fatigue  ::)

Ankle area has fat and has mucho padding, fat oldschool Rowley Classics vibe (but with more padding) and the recent Joslins but with a thin (as in no padding) tongue (no tongue stay as it's a bootie liner). Pretty hyped on them out of the box and dig the black sans vans wave/stripe + Skate Hi stiching on the toe box gives off good memory vibes of skating the HIs all day everyday back in the day.

Rowan | TNT SGs (just gave the TNTs a refresh, delicate wash, magic eraser, fresh laces...they cleaned up well; never skated them.

Yes.

55mm

They're a taller, longer baseplated slightly carvey Thunder. Thunders have always been my truck of choice due to being lower/WB extending camp but wheelbite was something I suffered through with them. I still get it with the ATGs but not as much and they feel better for me in bowls; Like ACE I only have to move to get them to 'do' Thunder don't oblige in some instances and I get pitched.

Breaking in a pair of the Figgy Dose. 8/10 skate shoes I’ve used since 2010 have been Busenitz. Before that were by a bunch of Reynolds 3 and other Emerica shoes preceding. A lot of feet feelings been going on.

Found the kicks online on sale. I'm a huge yellow fan and this is my era of shoe I grew up in. The deck was a purchase from my local in support of local skateshop day yesterday. Not a huge fan of the first name graphic but It'll make it easy to skate with no regerts.
