Just watched It.
I read the book to prep for the movie a few months ago, but you won't get much out of the crossing.
The movie is really good. Not perfect, but they basically used the book as a guideline and made a really punk version.
It's funny, scary, and gnarly. I didn't looove any of the kids. They couldn't really focus as much as they needed to on any
particular kid to make you really like them, but you'll be able to distinguish each one and what their deal is.
The clown is rad. He doesn't come off human like Curry did. Almost like something is working the clown, which if you
never read the book, is kind of the idea.
Scariest part, for me, is Tubs in the library. Just look in the background when he's through flipping the pages.
And they, I feel, achieve getting across the sewer orgy junk in the most subtle and amazing manner.
