if only the AW egg is shorter like 31.75". 32.25" is pretty long for a 14"wb board IMO.

that 8.75" shape would actually be pretty sick. i wanted a board like this for so long. i think it would actaully be fairly practical for me. it would look so awesome on bluntslides.

Really enjoying the Crob 8.5 with a 14" wheelbase. It's got pretty steep kicks, in between a nose and a tail but I don't mind that too much. Thinking of trying the new truefit Krooked deck that 8.5" with a 13.75 wheelbase. I'm short and a short wheelbase really helps.

That does look like a good size, shape and everything.

Is the tail at 6.2 a little short though?

I had to look it up and it says on one site that it was from 1991 - makes sense as 1990 were still squared off boards and 1992 were starting to really round off the tails a whole lot.

@Frank and Fred   Thanks for posting as it is rad to see.

a decent amount of boards to add to the list in the coming days
will try to keep the amount of posts as low as possible

plan b (not bothering to post graphics, forgive me this time)
8.625 x 32.125 x 14.2wb
8.75 x 32.125 x 14.2wb
9.0 x 32.25 x 14.2wb

From checking how long a couple of worn down (and sanded back) tails are on older boards, 6.2 is still ok, but not something I would choose to start with on any board.  That would be about a month less I think I would get out of it, if I was really counting, based on how I would often sand back / machine back the tails before passing them on to kids or others who would still have a decent board with a slightly smaller tail than I would like.

Funny I get in my head 6.5 is the absolute minimum but 6.7 or so is better for me anyway.

That 8.5 twin is super fun. The fat tails and slim WB are made for each other. Twin tip has almost immediately improved my switch game (still un-remarkable tho)

I'm not fucking with the Indy Mids I have on it, way too heavy and that kingpin loosening is real, but all my other sets are too big, and I don't wanna buy new trucks
Wow sorry, didn't realise I was dealing with a sick cunt here

That totally makes sense, pre 1993 boards with old school hole patterns would of course have 3/8" smaller tails on paper / looking at where the bolt holes are for the 6.2" tail, but are the same as normal boards with about 6.5" tails.

Thanks for that!

They've used that shape for a few Riley decks.

It was my last deck and I just left it at the park on Saturday morning.   :P
