I like Tyson's flow/gnar style and I actually think his fits add to his skating by showcasing his personality/originality. I wasn't too psyched to see him run into that dtla security guard but maybe it was more of an accident than the edit implies? I hope so.
Figgy really came through and I'm much more of a fan now than I was before.
T-Funk killed it and I'm pretty sure that even after I rewatch the video I'll still be a bit shook by how devil may care his approach is. He's like a good anxiety attack.
The montage was great and Ellington's clip was, as usual, my favorite part. Baker is doing it right.

T-Funk just dropped his defining part. That shit was insane. China Banks is a spot pros have stepped to for decades in a city almost every pro has been to, and he got a truly unique NDB there. Best part I've seen this year.

he also had a ton of footage in i want to say a Vans video(europe?) that had one of the cleanest backside flips i've ever seen and immediately made me understand why he's on baker(aside from the obvious)

China banks ollie is trick of the year so far, undoubtedly one of the top tricks of the decade. Just mindblowing. Like DaleSr said, I honestly thought Funk would've ollied or dropped into the big bank at the stairs to get the speed.

Editing-wise, I really admire how older, slower songs are used to such great effect in Baker vids. Conway Twitty song choice was sick.

The pairing of T Funk’s part with the Jim Ford song was fucking incredible. I listened to that song 10 times on repeat afterwards. Maybe I’ve missed this “trend” of old time country music being in skate videos, but it sure as fuck beats the 30 second mixtape style of ambient bullshit, or even worse, no music, that seems to be a WAY bigger trend these days. Full song or bust for me. Why people are trying to re invent the wheel with skate video soundtracks is contrarian bullshit.

Tysons back smith and kickflip into the small hubba was fucked. But like others, I find his homeless Rasta guy chic unbearable. Please clean it up.

I feel like we’ve taken Figgy for granted. Maybe my favorite handrail skater of his generation. I normally don’t dig the burnout stoner style but he is a legend.
