The last really good movie I saw was this Swedish sci-fi movie called Aniara. It's a very dark and bleak movie that's done really well, and leaves you feeling like everything in life is pointless. Super great quotes, visually amazing, and just overall made well in every way.

It's worth a view if you like depressing movies!

All the shots of LA looked amazing, and Pitt & DiCaprio have good chemistry as bros.

Maybe the most foot shots in a QT movie so far?

Saw once upon a time in Hollywood a few days back and I really liked it, even though it felt like it was kinda dragging on at times.

Also saw spider man into the spider verse a few days back too and it ended up being really good. I thought it was just gonna be some stupid cartoon but I ended up enjoying it a lot, it might be one of my favorite animated films of all time.

I'm cautious with anything Scorsese puts out nowadays. Did not care for Wolf of Wall Street and couldn't finish Silence. Now we're getting de-aged CGI De Niro in the Irishman. I don't know, man...

Yeah, I finally saw The Aviator recently for the first time, and thought it was mostly dumb, even though I've always found Howard Hughes super interesting.

That guy Holmes was so nuts though, I'd be happy with something sub-Boardwalk Empire quality even.

This is a really well done podcast series on Charles Manson/Sharon Tate/etc., goes into more detail about a lot of the stuff going on in the periphery of Once Upon a Time... :

The Barrio Boyz, it is that found footage supposed director was filming a gang initiation and it went off the rails, some parts were hokie and the Chicano Machismo was a bit corny sometimes like Sangre por Sangre but overall I thought it was good.
