Yeah it's kind of a crap shoot buying them online. I set it up and got my hopes up that it would be a different story but the wood is just not very good. When you pop it's just a dull thud as opposed to the sharp crack you get with a good stiff deck like bbs or Pwood. It was pretty much dead after an hour and now It reminds me of like a 3 week old creature price point deck. I really wanted to like this board - the graphic, the mellower concave, and the size/wb are all great, but the wood just isn't up to snuff.

Not really skate wise but some nice DBZ shirts from a h&m kind of place. Super nice cotton and price was a steal.

ScumCo Kevin Taylor 8.25 Slasher deck

The only thing that wasn't great about this order is that the deck is Control, not Pennswood. Not only does that mean that it's inferior wood, it means it doesn't come with all the cool shit Pennswood/ScumCo does which for this particular deck was apparently a Jason Mask and some stickers. It was only $40 so I'm not devastated but my last Control deck was pretty disappointing in the pop department and another user here that I have an ongoing dialogue with had the same experience with his Control Scumco. I was debating whether to even set this up or put it up on ebay but I'm going to give them another chance and just hope that it was a bad batch or something. Worse comes to worst I've got a new cruiser.

Fuck yeah with the Killer love. Glenn is a rad dude and does a lot for the Evansville scene.

Compared to the lakai and DCs I also just bought. The Reebok’s are more roomier. All are size 11. I consider myself to have wide feet.

Got some green Ace 44s. Beginning of this year I tried a wider set-up so I got some 55s and fell in love. I’ve since moved back down in board size and my old Thunders just weren’t cutting it anymore. First colored truck too.

just got bones bushings for the first time for my used thunder 148s. i honestly expected to not notice much of a difference but i really like them.

skating my first theories deck. really like it. feels similar to the habitat nasa board i had just before.

my local got these sick isle boards in stock so i picked one up for when the theories board is done.
