Was really hyped on the Pac-Man x OJs but wanted a more functional wheel, so I found these 98a 54mm LED wheels off Amazon and put them on the cruiser.

No practical purpose I just think they’re neat. Gonna try them out later today.

quasi 9 inch, dims are overall very similar to a loveseat
indy stage 4 151s
formula x 95a 52mm
pepper grip(first time using this, gripping the board was easy and hasslefree)
mini logo bearings for the start since i don't know yet about those wheels

while the main setup(not pictured) remains a hockey stain on 149ers with f4 99a 54mm and random bearings.

this one is meant to be easy on worn out feet, take me to work from time to time, and to explore a few nooks and crannies in my neighborhood that need a tad more forgiving wheels. i had the wheels first as a gift (thank you, kindest soul, you know who you are if you read this ), then impulsively ordered the trucks without having a matching board. had to get this quasi as long as it was available. mostly excited about the trucks and wheels. hope the weather will be nice tomorrow so i can at least push to work with it.

Bought the Una debut deck in the 8.28 shape from Nocturnal. Hyped to get back on a Krooked/ DLX board after being strictly on Jamal Smith’s boards last 1.5years. Really fell in love with the 8.25 x 14 wb w/ Venture lights and this board is just slightly bigger with the 14.1 wb

Now I am actively trying to stop myself from buying some 808s 😂

Told myself I wouldn't ever buy a shaped deck again...BUT.
Somebody posted a screenshot of curren caples showing his setup, and I realized I have all the parts except the deck. And then titus had the deck 50% off. So I guess I'm gonna copy curren caples now and probably hate the setup. 9" and super short wheelbase, gonna be my transition setup I guess. Second time copying a pro setup after unknowingly riding ishods setup for a while, which is still my go to.

I've read on slap that it's basically just the crailtap loveseat shape, but I really hope it's different. I'll report back when I have it

Got the black on white Nike SB BRSB. Also my shop had it's 12th year birthday and had mystery boxes for 100. I got one and it has 2 8.3 decks, habitat and less than local, a set of 53mm 97a slimeball vomit minis, 2 sheets of jessup, and a vans wallet. All together it was 185 bucks worth of stuff.

Don’t do it. My understanding is you get what you pay for and they are very inconsistent. You might get a decent looking and lasting pair or a complete shit pair that looks awful explodes in a few sessions. There’s more dunks available in general these days. Non SB dunk highs are easy to find in good colors. Swap some oval laces in there and a zoom air insole and you got a SB dunk without having to resort to fakes.

If you’re buying reps to skate, I can’t imagine they would skate well. Materials are going to be garbage. Formula’s they use for the soles can’t be similar at all. No way they last very long.

I don’t have experience in skating reps, just my input. I think you get what you pay for.

^fakes don’t hurt corporations, just the consumer. You think you’re getting the same thing but it’s really not. There’s plenty of shoes to choose from that aren’t dunks. Especially if you don’t mind skating non skate shoes which dunks originally were/are.
