its sounds dumb but i was looking forward to that, i fucking hated the rag doll physics of the first game and i think its gonna look rad if you have to kick your board away or hop off a rail if you dont have enough speed or the right angle

nah, just burn the folder named Content onto a dvd. then when you pop it into your xbox just go to your demos and it should be in there.

that sounds like something a ps3 owner would say

tripods great, sometimes the physics feel cartoonish but watching in slow motion replay everything looks better than the first one. some of those 'bails' where your board gets hit off your feet are really dumb. in that first atiba challenge you can clip on the rail, just float on down those 20 feet and not even bend your legs when you land.

I haven't figured out how to jump off yet, just took some gnarly gnarly slams.

Sometimes if you fuck up flip tricks over stuff you automatically run out the bail. Hippy jumps are pretty cool but I havent found much to do them on in the park.

set that red flat bar at the bottom of that nearby stair set, you can do 360 hippy jumps down the stairset over the bar

As far as I know, you can only do it with a grab, like a kickflip fastplant.

Also, you can hippy jump the picnic table with the right amount of speed. I've been dragging the picnic table up onto the top of the bank and doing tricks up and over it, then turn around and hippy jump back into the bank, just get some lines going. Also, dragging the flatbar in line with the double set ledge is a lot of fun.

Oh and if you hippy jump off your board and run on top of something and you're still over your board, press Y and you'll casually jump back on your board without doing the THPS-style "magic retrieval" thing.

as you drag it near the gates line up so your in the middle of the lit section of the gate. As you get close you'll see 2 reddish / brown marks on the floor like a couple of blood spots ( _ ~) something like that.
Line your left leg shadow so that it's centered over the upper most blob, then drag gently backwards in a straight line. The camera will zoom upwards and your CAS will look as if he having a fit half way through the gates...pull back gently and there you go...I get through nearly first attempt now (max 3)
place a session marker and away you go...

That helped. Thanks. Makes the demo so much more fun. You can just skate aimlessly around the city for the 5 or so minutes.
